Here are few photos from last weekend’s ride to Knik Glacier. The thing I like most about this ride is the widely varying terrain. The 40-mile, round-trip journey has everything from wide-open spaces to tight trails through the woods, water crossings, sand, mud, rock, hills, everything! I was the sole ATV rider. The others in the group were in side-by-sides.

A friend wrecked my 2014 Trx 420 2wd into a rock wall. The front tires are spread apart about one inch……..probably just the right if you have the bars even. Nothing is obviously bent but something must be. Before I dig into this is there something you experts would tell me to check if it’s not obvious once torn down?
I’m trying to learn as much of the specifics of clutch tuning that i can and right now i’m researching clutch springs. My question concerns the primary clutch spring. If i increase my starting rate in will increase my engagement rpm but wouldn’t this also affect belt grip since there’s not as much centrifugal force pushing the sheave since some of it got wasted overcoming the higher starting rate? Also, wouldn’t increasing engagement rpm decrease the amount of time it takes the engine to go from idle to shift out rpm? My thinking is the it has say 300 less rpm to travel and you’re making slightly more power to the wheels when the machine starts to move.
I just got my 570 back from being serviced by a dealer. I was looking at the LED readout and noticed they failed to reset maintenance due indicator (wrench).
Came someone explain how this is done? I hate to have to load up the bike and haul it back to the dealer just to get it reset.

Question;
I am building a shelf in my garage. It will be approx. 26 inches deep and 10 feet wide. It will be secured on the back to the wall and on the right to the wall the left will be bolted to an adjustable rack the front will be free floating. I need to know the proper header beam i would need to cover the 10 foot span. I was thinking 2 – 2×6’s would be enough but reading different things leads me to think i would need 2 – 2×10’s. The shelf may a descent amount of weight on it after filled with storage stuff.
So what is the proper header beam I would need to build?
I have a 1995 polaris 300 4×4. I am trying to mount a winch for the snow plow rather than the manual lift I currently have. I have searched the Internet and have worked with a dealer and can’t seem to find a mounting plate. Anyone have a solution. Someone has to have a winch mounted.
Anyone live close to Minneapolis? If so, we’d love to get your machine for two weeks so we can develop a plow mount for the 2016 Grizzly 700 and 2016 Kodiak 700.
If you can do this, give us a shout at 866-527-7637. We will offer a 50 or 60" DENALI snow plow for you for free.
