hay friends,just bought my little girl a 2000 trailblazer 250,rode it a little and choke cable broke.so go a new new one and now atv wouldn’t start.took to shop and she said coil was bad, $800 to fix.cant afford that.so was also told trailblazers have 3 coils.when took off recoil starter water and mud poured out.i can only figure that aint good. So can anyone tell me how many coils and location this thing has,what causes water to be in pull start (where the starter bendex is)thanks

I need to purchase a new secondary for my 08 outlander 650 max xt. I bought the bike used with a set of tracks, I think that may be what has damaged my clutch. I’m planning on buying the STM Tuner Gen 2 secondary clutch. I was planning on going with 3 shims , 45deg helix and a ps-6 (silver) spring 165/300.

I need help to find out if those specs would be good for me. I would like to have aggressive riding , but not too aggressive as to damage anything when I put the tracks on during winter, and also have a decent torque for pulling.

would the specs I plan on going with be good ? or should I change anything and what would that change ? I don’t know much about clutches 🙁

have a 2001 -350 that is tough to start with starter and won’t idle but starts on first crank with pull cord. Once i’m rolling doesn’t run to badly, seems to labour a bit occasionally. I cleaned the carb and it helped somewhat with labouring issue but not with idle problem.
What’s the difference between starter and pull start? could this be an electrical issue not fuel?

Hey guys fairly new the the forum. Need a little help
I have a 2011 xmr 800. Was out this morning running great. Ran through a water puddle soaked me and the machine now it runs lik crap. Limped it home changed the plugs and wires thinking maybe it was the issue but no go. Hard to start. Low power and smells really rich. Plugs were wet when i pulled them our. Thinking maybe coil pack but not sure what to look for. Any help would be great. Also no trouble codes yet on the display.

I have a 2012 Polaris sportsman 500, it will not run when it gets hot, I was told by a mechanic that the valves need set. Any truth to this? If so how much should they charge for that?

Hi all, I just installed a cvtech clutch on my bike. As per cvtech instructions I installed the 0951-1021 primary spring and 20g weights instead of 18g, because I have 27" mud lite tires (12rear 9front). In high my engagement is perfect at 2250-2300 and shift out on full throttle pull on the road goes up to 7450-7600 then drops to 7250-7300 but the bike won’t climb back past 7600rpm or so and it tops out at 68mph. In low it will go to redline at about 42-44mph.

What can I do to help climb closer to redline? Lighter weights to 18g?

What does it mean if the T Mark can’t line up with the index mark when turning the crankshaft? Whenever I get it lined up it falls about a quarter to half inch down

I know this has to have been covered before, But I searched and have not come up with anything.

I bought a 2001 Sportsman 500 4×4. The previous owner said the fan switch went bad so he just installed a toggle switch.

I would like to install a new fan switch.

Are there any instructions here on how to replace the switch?
