Took the bike for a ride today and got in about 30 miles of rough terrain for the first time. We made a pit stop at a country quick stop and when I turned the ignition on after the bike sat for a while it made a continuous mid tone beep. I turned off the key and back on and it did it again until I started it. We rode a few hundred feet so the girls could go to the bathroom and it did it again. After that it didn’t do it again the rest of the day.

Anyone know what it could be ? Some type of warning ? Maybe a temp warning ?

There were no lights etc. lit on the display

Bought new carb and installed. Same problem still persists (see link). Idles fine but will not rev. Flushed and cleaned gas tank and fuel selector valve.

Troubleshooting using the manual says bad ECM…$400.00+. Any suggestions?:mad:

Hello all. I’m new this forum stuff, but I could really use someone’s help. I have a 2015 Yamaha Grizzly 700 EPS and it will not engage in gear. The clutch spins and as soon as I put it in gear, it cuts off.

Afternoon fellas! I recently bought my kids a 2011 Sportsman 550 X2. The bike is pretty much stock and all it needed was a rear diff, which I replaced with a 850 diff and deleted the turf mode. My kids have been riding the piss out of the thing, but I have noticed that the temp light kicks on once the bike is rode for about 30 mins. It will light up and then go off when the fan kicks on. I have checked to make sure thermostat is working and it is, radiator looks brand new, I have bled the system, got it hot and popped the cap open and added antifreeze etc. the bike is not overheating, the engine light never comes on and it never goes into limp mode. Fan works and all that, it just keeps tripping that light. Could it be the temp sending unit or the thermostat not opening until it gets to hot? Or could it be an issue with ecm which I have read about? Again, it is not over heating, but that light is driving me bonkers. This bike is new to me and I couldn’t find anything like my issue on the forum, except bikes that were actually over heating. Any help is appreciated.

Anyone fitted power steering on one of the above? Would the steering unit off another model fit (with mods obviously). I noticed a power steer unit on ebay off a 420 (?) at reasonable money and while I’m building another 300 thought about fitting it?
I assume they’re electric, does the 300 produce enough power, what does a power steer unit draw, how many amps?

It had crossed my mind in the past to try a unit off a small car (we have lots over here) but a Honda unit would be better.

I’m new to this kind of stuff, middle aged redneck, like to hunt, fish, dive & ride on land and water.
I have a 2007 grizzly that I think has a bad starter relay.
all of the harness wires are hot with key switched on. I can jump across and spin the machine over. any help would be appreciated.
