I put resistors in place of the O2 sensor & cold air intake sensor to trick the ECU into thinking the machine is running with colder air. I am no expert nor a licensed mechanic, so IF you chose to do this, do it at your own risk. I also punched the stock pipe out, the machine does have more noticeable bottom & mid power.
Anyway…. just throwing it out there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaw8lEJ9BBo

2004 mid year model sportsman 400. I am tyring to locate the voltage regulator location. It is not where it is supposed to be. The regulator I got from the dealer looks nothing like what is there. Please help me figure this out.
So I just picked up an 87 250 Trail boss. It has a carb off of a 600 twin snowmobile. It does not perform very well, it won’t rev very high, and it pretty doggy even on low end. I think it could be improved with jetting, either that or I wonder if there is a good alternative that is not so expensive. Looks like original carbs run $100 and up. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
Good morning,
I was looking for a solenoid for my ATV and found the site and joined today.. I have a 2004 Sportsman 400 that I just picked up last month to use for hunting and to help with chores around the house. Its my first four wheeler and I look forward to learning from all the experienced members and contributing if it all possible when I can.
Hello,
I have a question regarding solenoid replacement.. I was looking for a solenoid for my 2004 sportsman 400 and found a bunch of different looking solenoids..
I’m thinking that any one with two posts and key switch wire will work right?
Am I missing something here?
My 2015 570sp has developed an annoying squeak from the rear suspension bushings. I was able to quiet it with some silicone penetrant but after a few rides its back with a vengeance. Any ideas? It seems to be coming from a couple different bushings. Any thoughts are greatley appreciated!!!
So, I’ve always been a Honda 3 wheeler guy. But I have not had a wheeler for awhile now. But today I will be going to look a an 87 Polaris Trail Boss 250. I have rode a couple of these machines in the past and liked them so I thought I’ll give it a try.
