Today I just tried starting my ATV 2015 Sportsman ETX.
The indicator is LO 9.8 or 10 on Dash.
The quad just ticks and barely turns over sometimes.
I guess this could mean low battery?
I read in this forum that you have to have a certain RPM in order for the Sportsman to charge the battery. Is this true for the 2015 Sportsman ETX base model? I do lots of night driving.
I drive really slow with my ATV. The person said you needed 4000 RPM?
I normally drive between 10-15 miles per hour.
Can this be an explanation for a Low battery?
Or do i even have a Lo battery with LO 9.8 dash indicator?
I’ve owned the ATV for a year.

I am wondering what are common things that go wrong with the brakes on these bikes? I have a friend who has a similar bike with no brakes either.
Additionally, I’ve been looking into brake conversions and seen that there is a conversion kit, however it is over budget for me as I plan to keep it cheap for this bike. Has anyone built their own conversions? I’ve been thinking about hooking up a set of brakes off a street bike motorcycle. Or would it just be as easy to rebuild her factory brakes?
Thanks all!
