Hello from Texas! Bought a ’09 Grizz SE a few months ago, 4100 miles, 408 hours.
Doing the maintenance now:
Front left wheel bearing, diff seal, brakes and of course left axle shaft due to damaged boot.
Back left axle shaft also due to damaged boot.
Oil change, new air filter.
Doing research on why only the front left brake pads needed changing, paper thin material left but all the rest of the pads have over 50% material left. I don’t think the bearing was bad but it did come apart while removing the hub.
Couple of Questions:
1.) Is there a way to adjust the left/right brakes and if so, where are the instructions for doing this?
2.) One axle nut was damaged and I need to get a die and chase the threads, what size are the threads, including threads per inch (TPI)?
Thanks, I’ll post pics when I can figure out how!!

Hey guys! I’m looking at a 2011 Grizzly 350 4×4 IRS with 264 miles. I haven’t seen it yet, other than pictures, it’s a 2+ hour drive to go look at it and I wanted some opinions before I do. The guy is the 2nd owner, said a friend needed money so he sold his Grizzly. Also said it’s mostly been in the garage since 2012, everything is stock except the starter solenoid. What are some things to look for with this machine? He’s asking $3300 and selling because he already owns Viking. I currently own a ’99 Honda Fourtrax 300 4×4 and want something with auto, selectable 4×4 with IRS. I’ve been around ATV’s for years but only Honda/Kawasaki’s. thanks for reading
I’m working on installing a set of aluminum skid plates on my Rubicon. While taking the factory ones off I noticed a bunch of connectors.
SOOO that got me thinking what’s the best way to seal them?? A little dab inside the connectors? Fill the connectors? Just running a little bead around the closed connector? I have no intentions on going deeper than the tires but I’ve also fallen into a hole a time or 2 and would like to stay proactive in case things get deep.
I have a 2010 Sportsman 500 HO with Polaris winch.
Used mainly for plowing.
Big snow time now and wouldn’t you know it when plowing today winch was working fine then stopped both in and out. Will free spool.
When I hit the In or out button I get a loud click but no spool action.
Called the dealer and he said probably frozen box where wires go into, and to let it thaw out. Checked the box under the right front inside the tire, no moisture, etc., Sounds like a solenoid clicking, but loud. All wires to box tight.
He did say that lots of in and out action on these like plowing will make them go bad. I don’t have a way to get it to the dealer without renting a trailer. Anyone have any experience with this? Help sure will be appreciated.
Thanks, Lou
I’m wondering if there is supposed to be a seal on the back side of the brakes where the bearing is. I know there is one on the other side but Im not sure about the side that mounts to the swing arm? Here is a picture to show what I mean.
I have no idea what happened the lights and all worked when i started it up rode it for about an hour turned it off and no lights worked what so ever. But i could jump the cilinoid with a screw driver. Checked all fuses and nothing. Any ideas?
Does anyone have any experience with these products. A buddy of mine is wanting to lift his bike and I had the 2 inch bracket lift and I ended up going with the Highlifter extended trailing arms in the rear. I think if I had to do it over again I would go down the above route.
1. Has anyone had any dealings with PATV? Good, Bad Ect.
2. Has anyone had any dealings with C-FAB? Good, Bad Ect.
3. Also opinions on this lift would be great.
I may be paranoid but the winch on the front of my machine is not what I remember.
I’ve been plowing for a few years now with it, more recently I’ve been plowing 5-10 houses out every snowfall and it seems to be giving up.
The machine is an 07 and I assume the winch is too, a WARN RT2500 It seems to be winding in slower recently and it doesn’t seem to have as much power as it used to, it winds out just as fast as usual, it’s not a battery issue it’s strong. Just wondering if this is maybe a common issue and I just need to take it apart and service it or if it sounds like it’s on it’s way out. The winch hardly gets any use all summer other than the occasional time I get stuck, never gets submerged, hardly even gets splashed.
One set for 850.rear. I’ve order one to many, I thought my wife didn’t have rear, and couldn’t check cuz bike was at the dealer. Bla bla bla… the only thing missing is instruction… organizing in a garage right now when find it, will include. New condition.never installed. Should fit 09-16 . Mine is 09 &it fit, her is 15 and both were the same out of box.
PM.me with offer.
When 900 Ranger 2014 is outside in the cold about 0-10 degrees it will not start, get it inside a warm place it will start. Sometimes I can get it started with Brake clean in the snorkel sometimes. I have cycled the key several times before starting. I have 55-60 fuel pressure, It has spark when it is cold, replace spark plugs and air filter. Any suggestions?
