Thanks

Why can’t they make the plastic scratch resistant? I have a 2015 Honda Foreman – Black… Breathing near it makes scratches appear… I have 100 miles now and it it looks like I ran it through some government document shredder lol…
Just saying… somebody needs to get with the plastic provider/engineer and bring the body panels into the future with tougher plastic… I know it’s an off road vehicle and I’m going to run it through thorns and cactus and all sorts of abrasive materials, but hey, I still want to rinse it off and it look shiny and new.
Anyway… what made me post this is sad but true… I have tall rubber boots I wear for bow hunting that have zipper to make putting on and off easy, not thinking anything of it I get home and see the plastic is totally scratched to hell on both sides and realize the zipper from the boots rubbed constantly the entire ride to and from. the fenders show every little scratch from just going through tall grass… the four wheeler looks thrashed.
So, OCD clean freaks out there be warned the plastic scratches WAY to easy.
I am like, it’s a four wheeler it’s going to get scratched, but watching that video, makes me think there is got to be better materials for this application so scratches are not caused by 1 mile hour wind blowing dust on it 🙂
My wife and I only ride about 2 or 3 times a year and we usually go to a state park (St. Joe state park in MO). We mostly do easy trail riding, but these trails do have rocks. We do not go crazy on these trails, just casual rides.
With that being said, should I get nerf bars or skid plates first on my 05 400ex? I am not looking for anything expensive since we dont ride that often. I was looking at the tusk nerf bars. Are these ok? If you recommend skids first, should I get full chasis, swing arm guards, a arm skids? I am not too familiar with these at all.
Now, my wife rides a 95 300ex and I definetly want to get her some nerf bars. She does not have any kind of heel guards on hers, so I am afraid her foot is going to get ran over. Should I get her just the tusk nerfs or the tusk with heel guards?
Thanks in advance for all your help!

I guess I’m wondering if the mount bolt locations are the same on both bikes.
Thanks,
