Plastic Paints?

Hi guys,
My plastic is really faded on my ATV in places and I want to paint it Black with Monster Energy green rims and racks and put the Monster Energy logo and their racing team number on it. I also know that to paint the plastic, I can’s use regular paint as it wont stick (Plus I have tried on a 3 wheeler and the paint didn’t stick). So what kind of paint do I need? Also, how do you prep the old plastic for paint? And in quite a few places the plastic is cracked, so does anyone know how to weld plastic? If I do end up deciding to paint my ATV I might just use black plastic zip ties to hold the plastic together and to blend with the black.

Thanks,
Storm

What would you do?

So I have a 12v accessory plug (Cig lighter style) to install on the 300.
I can either wire it into the plug that’s on the handlebar or wire directly into the harness somewhere.

Question is, where would you mount the plug?
I was thinking of drilling a 30mm hole somewhere on the front plastics up near the steering head and flush mounting it.

If you have installed a plug, let me know what you did 🙂

Nerf bar netting fitment

hey guys so one of my ROCK nerf bar nets is ripped. Im looking all over for replacements but I think I want to go with red ones and the only ones I’ve found that were ROCK brand were black.

Does anyone or has anyone ever tried to put TUSK or ALBA nets on another set of nerf bars? How interchangeable are the nets?

$1 2-up Seat

I have been thinking about a 2-up seating arrangement for safer and more comfortable riding with my 5 year old daughter. At some point I will probably in something nicer, but tHis does the trick for now.

As you can see it is just an old mower seat. I attached it to the rear rack with 3/4" conduit clamps and self tapping screws. A total investment of $1.07.

And the best part, she loves it!

Next best thing? I can still access the storage box!

Christmas Gift Update

Santa made his rounds and I was lucky enough to get a new 12" Dual light bar for my Rubicon.

I could have ordered a Rigid bar online, but like to support my local dealer and was very happy with the build quality and light output. A few of the guys at the dealership had them on their trucks and quads and I liked. I believe they are Chinese made, but at $249, they feel and look much better then my neighbour’s Chinese Rigid knock-off. I purchased the wiring harness so no cutting/splicing besides a small hole for the flush mounted switch. Very happy and hope to get it installed this week.

My son got a new set of PowerMadd Sentinel hand guards for his 420 so a good Christmas all around.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

Jeff
