So, I’m totally happy with my xp900, but it’s time to do something with the ride quality. I rode in my friends xp1k today and decided that mine really rides bad! I’m not sure if I should just have mine revalved/new springs? Bilsteins? Appx the same cost as the revalve/respring. Or Kings? Input needed! I’m pretty open to anything short of buying a new RZR!

Having an issue with stator and voltage regulator.
Hey guys it’s been a long time since I’ve been on here but I’m having a strange issue on my old 900 XP that I can’t figure out. I had a voltage regulator basically melted itself down last weekend and after testing the stator I realized I wasn’t getting any voltage from it at all. I just replaced the stator and VR yesterday and I’m still not seeing any voltage on the new stator. The ohms test and everything in the manual is within spec but no voltage. Is there anything else to check? The magnets on the flywheel look fine and there’s no other visible issues.
Another problem I discovered or possibly caused is that when I put the stator cover back on, if I tighten the 13 bolts to spec the starter gear will not engage like it’s seized. If i back of the bolts a few turns it will spin free but still no voltage on the stator. The bearing in the stator cover turns freely so I’m confused as to what could be the problem.
Intake noise
Hey guys, I haven’t had my 900 for long, but it has a weird blat sound at low speeds I assumed was exhaust. Today I took it out for a quick spin after I installed EPS, and now I’m fairly certain it is intake noise coming from right behind my head. Is there any way to tone that down without restricting it? It’s not real bad, but kind of annoying.

Ball Joints
I need to replace both lower ball joints. Who makes the best?
Axle armor on oem axle only?
Broke a front outer cv due to bent tie rod and lower control arm giving out. I run Knine axle armor on all 4 corners. I’m wondering if I could save some money and use a superatv ADR axle. Or if I need to buy an OEM axle. I would like to keep using the axle armor. Unless the ADR hold up? I drive hard and race occasionally.

I bent the Polaris receiver hitch so I put the stock red plate back on. Then I started playing with an idea to put the hitch on the cage extension, instead of mounting tow point to the suspension bolts. I know this isn’t a permanent solution, but its at least a starting point.
Does anyone make a rear cage extension with a receiver made on it?

Or a whole cage, with roof, and a receiver?
