Last week, I was browsing around the forums. I came across this one thread, which now I can not find. Some guy had added and extra 5 gallon gas tank to his RZR. This tank sat under the rear seat right next to the stock gas tank. If anyone knows of this thread or the person that did this mod, can you send his link my way Please.
I am selling my RZR. It has had no problems, damage, or deep water. It is Havasu Red. It has nice front & rear bumpers, tree kickers, upgraded seat belts all around, and a 4,500lb winch. I am asking $19,000 and am located near Louisville, KY. If you have questions feel free to call me at (502)432-8664 or email vwrocket@bellsouth.net. If this is not the correct place to post, please let me know. Thanks!!
Little history, RZR is a 2015 4xp 1000 with 74 hours and 1100 miles. I take extremely good care of my RZR and dirt bikes. I’m not rich and want them to last! Anyway went to the desert for New Years. While getting gas at the Shell Station I noticed a crack in the plastic where the Rocker panel attaches to the frame. Checked the opposite side and found that side has a crack also. No high centers, no rocks hit, nothing I can think of while driving that could have caused this. I’m thinking it’s possibly due to the 20 degree temps at night, you know, contraction and expansion, but I don’t know. Any ideas?
This was a 2016 XP4 1k. 2016’s are not covered in the vent line recall. This makes me think that Polaris either does not know what is causing all of the fires, they are just throwing out the vent line issue to get the CPSC off their back or both.
Searched for this type of problem and only found a thread back from 2011. I was wondering if anyone has had this happen to there newer rzr mine is a 2016 xp4 1000? Went out for New Years weekend 2nd trip out with still less then the first service time of 20hrs just cruising around Friday evening. Then all of sudden this loud crazy noise, plastic flying, and the front end dropped to the ground. Got out to find the shock shaft of the stock wer’s had worked its way out of the base piece that mounts to the top control arm. The springs rubber and stops all back on the trail right behind us. Thankfully we were able to get the shock back together and cruise it back to camp. Left the desert early and got the rzr to the dealer. Wondering if i’m the only one on the newer models?
Wondering if anyone could tell me if they think or know if a pair of intercom headsets would fit in the PRP door bags. I have a rugged radio intercoms and would love to store the headsets in the door bags during travel or during cleaning to keep them protected and out of sight.
Good morning RZR gurus. I have a 2014 RZR xp41k. As everyone knows these things blow belts. I have installed a Dalton clutch and my next upgrade was a Alba belt gauge & fan package but as I was in Glamis this past week I blew another belt with some Kevlar cords getting behind my primary clutch. I pulled my primary & secondary clutches, outer & inner belt housing and my intake hose. My question is there looks to be a black outer cover and a brown seal around the shaft. Brown seal looks fine but outer black seal was shredded. My inner belt housing had what felt like grease in it. I’m thinking oil & when my belt disintegrated made it like a greasy substance. Any assistance on this repair???
