Check your fuel line

I noticed today while inspecting machine that the fuel line is being rubbed by the zip tie retainers. Look for gray fuel line that runs along the motor mount bar up the drivers side under bed to throttle body. There are three points that are secured by a zip tie with a zip tie retainer. Two had tape run around the fuel line to protect it from rubbing the line, one did not. One of the two taped spots on line were at the point the zip tie contacts the line, one was not. What I found when I felt the line was that the retainers that hold the fuel line with zip tie are rubbing a hole in the line without tape as a buffer. It did not rub a hole but is well on its way to rubbing a hole in line. Check you fuel line to make sure it is not in direct contact with these retainers.

Stm adjustment

I need to raise the rpm on my 1k. It is running at 7500. I want to raise it back to 8400. I know I have to take weight off. My arms weigh 49 grams.

The arms are set up as follows. First 3 washers. 3 grams left side. 2 washers. 2 gram right. Middle 3 washers right side 3 gram. Total weight per arm is 49 gram.

Closest to pin is suppose to be more bite. How do I need to adjust.

New to the XP1K madness!

Lurked on here for about a month, just joined up after bringing home a new XP1K from Abernathy’s this weekend. Look forward to building it up to fit my needs and budget! Not sure how many on here can say this but, we have one of these because my wife thought it would be fun for us to get out and play on..wow, who am I to deny her of good dirty fun! I ride dirt bikes too and I think she finally grew tired of my guy trips and wants to be a part of some fun! Thanks to all who post such useful info on this site, I have spent hours on here looking for securing options for my trailer to doors/winches/harnesses/tires/roofs/winshields..and the list goes on. Got about a 3hr break in ride at Moccasin Gap near Dover Ar on Saturday. Very impressive machine, plenty of power/torque on tap, seems agile and stable. Love the stance and ground clearance! Overall, very impressed, look forward to many miles ahead, thanks again for all that provide great info.
