I curious if any of you have lowered the ride height of your XP to make it handle better? I’m a hill climber and obstacle tackler so i’m thinking if I lower the height a little bit the RZR will be better suited for my type of riding with a lower center of gravity? What is the height, at the crown of stock cage, for a 1000XP?
Also, I’m considering a smaller tire to increase wheel speed. Any thoughts on this?
What is the rear spring rate on the 2 seater rear springs? When swapping the front spring to the rear, is this essentially going to soften the rear suspension, Or does it stiffen it up.
Seems as if now it is too stiff in the rear and tends to want to kick up on me.
Was looking for a simple and easy way to stiffen up the front, then soften the rear suspension. Seems like the tender swap would fit the bill. never understood why the small spring in the rear is completely collapsed as that seems very ineffective.
Any tips or tricks are welcome! Would like to improve the suspension with out breaking the bank.
Standard XP1000…Any advice on how to get the front differential out and separated from the drive shaft? Where does the drive shaft separate for just the front diff. to be removed?
With the hardware removed, the diff. can move around in the frame a little and when I pull it forward, the part of the drive shaft that starts to separate is on the back where it attaches to the engine. So I’m wondering how to remove the front differential without pulling the whole drive shaft out with it.
I need some feed back on turbo kit. I came down to 2 kit, the osp and silber . My plan is to run at 6 to 8 pound of boost on stock engine. I spoke with both company but can not decide witch way to go!! I like osp for the reputation and I already purchased parts from them before with great results. on the silber kit I find its a more complete kit and more refined. My concern with silber is their customer support and the pre tuning of the fuel and timing . I have no problem to install those kits but I’m not good for tuning!! can you please give me your opinion on what to do thanks
What’s everyone using for the trans on the 1k’s? Last night I drained the trans instead of the oil and refilled it with gear lube 75w-140 is what I had laying around in the shop but I’ll drain it and put 75w90 if needed… Read so many different threads on here my mind went numb…
I stumbled across this on ebay. I already have a NRG 2.0 quick release, but using a different hub adapter. I didn’t know NRG made their own…maybe it’s new? Looks like a cleaner install…less parts and bolts.
