What is everyone paying for you 1000 xp 2015 rzrs. Was in the Polaris store yesterday looking at FOX EDITION TURBO SILVER and they wanted 25000 out the door. That just seems really high.
My rear Bighorn tires are shot, only 1000 miles, I ordered a set of four Roctane 28-10-14 8 ply tires, my question is, are they going to work on the two differant widths rims on my 1000XP, they will be here Monday, thanks for any imput MADDOGWFO
I’m in the process of checking my timing because of a rough idle and backfiring on deceleration. Pulled the valve cover and and cps, and the cps has oil on it. Is this normal? I wouldn’t think so, but would like to get verification. If not, what would I look for to replace? Engine only had about 500 miles and has a manual tensioner already.
Just wanted to pass along what I just found out. I bought a Sparks Polaris XP4 1000 clutch kit and had to modify the primary rooster arm weights. I read the instructions and it said to use a least one washer while using the red bolt. I used 2 thin washers and thought that would be fine. Apparently not. I took it apart to install the new clutch kit I received with the Turbo kit I’m installing and found out the red bolts were hitting the clutch housing. Great, I wonder if that’s why I was still breaking belts. Anyways I would run at least one thick washer with red bolt to make sure it does not hit the clutch housing. FYI 🙂
Fabbed up this bracket. Made up a wire harness. I used same size #10 wire as factory. All seems to work just fine. Reason for relocating is I have read a few post about regulators failing. I know the 08 800’s the trick was to move it to the front. I’m also wondering if due to the heat if that is what is starting the fires. My thought is to prevent it from failing. I know I posted this once already. I have searched & searched & can’t find it. If someone else can find it I will delete one.
Here is some pics of my RZR that I have been working on. It is a Voodoo Blue,
1000xp. Aftermarket doors painted to match, and custom graphics. Has Simpson 5 point seat belts, and a Rage 6 STM clutch with custom arms, and Helix to handle the extra power of my OSP E-85 turbo, base setup of of 185 horsepower. Just installed, only test driven by the guys at STM while setting up my clutch. Thanks for looking. Robert
