polaris dual battery kit

hi guys. i have read all the articles on here about the polaris dual battery isolator kit. i am still having problems wiring the thing up on my 2008. i have a call into poaris but no return call yet. is there a wiring schematic anyone has acquired?? the hook up instructions are for the rzr4 and do not come close to helping with the 2 seater. i only bought the thing because it was on sale for 1/2 price and was told it would work on the 2008 2 seater. i am stuck with it now because i have altered wire length on a few of the wires. any help would be greatly appreciated. it has seriously frustrated the heck out of me. thanks

Used 800 questions

Looking to buy a rzr to replace my 650 Kaw prairie. It’s going to be a light utility vehicle for pulling a small trailer, launching a wave runner, light running around. Need something small for storage so the ranger is out of the question. Looking at some 2008-2009 models with under 600 miles. What should my main concerns be for any problems, aside from seeing if the machine was beat to crap. That’s an easy one. Do they hold up over a period of time without a lot of work? Should I wait another 6-12 months, save a little more and just get a newer 570? I’m not really concerned about the power, I have more than I need with my current 650. Mainly want seats and a steering wheel to make it more user friendly for inexpierienced drivers. Thanks in advance for any help

Using WER replacement Springs?

I have a 2011 800 WE with 1600 miles. The stock White Polaris springs are sagging badly, so I’m looking at which replacement springs to buy.

Has anyone just gone with the Red Walker Evans replacements springs? I can’t find any posts about that.

I’m thinking about sending my shocks back to WER for a rebuild and then having them put their new springs on.

Any thoughts?

800 HO parts or swap in a rzr??

All new guys always start out with a stupid question ,Right?
I’ve been rooting thru yer drawers the last few days and this seems like a good forum with knowledgeable people.
Since the 800’s are not HO, Has anybody tried putting in some of the guts-ie, cam,heads,valves, injectors, to make it an 800HO, just to get a lil more out of it.??
There’s couple 800rzr’s in my area with low hours and was wondering.
I’ve had handlebars most of my life, maybe it’s about time I got a steering wheel. Thanks

SATV 5″ lift kit

Is the SATV 5" kit pretty trail friendly? how about steering is it a little harder to turn? Reason for asking still want to use the bike for the 50" capability and not be super wide or destroy axle boots (by them heating up) driving down regular and tight trails. Have an 08 800 50" wanting to lift it but still be able to have fun in with with either me driving or my girlfriend being able to still drive it.
Wanting to maybe put 30’s under it or 31’s. Or anyone have any luck with smaller lifts without having to buy axles right away and getting by with stock axles for a little while?

Putting nuts where they don’t belong

I have an 08 800 and I am in the process of putting tracks off of a arctic cat onto my rzr. I had to get custom spacers made to adapt rzr bolt patter to the cat tracks. Next problem I have encountered is my lug nuts. I need acorn style lug lugs. I ordered a set of 3/8-24 lug nuts, I go to slap them on today and see that the lug nuts on my rzr are 10×1.25. What are they supposed to be? I purchased the machine used so it is possible a person who had no clue what they were doing blasted these lug nuts on with an impact. I can take my tap and die set and spin the studs on my hubs to get them back to what they are supposed to be. Before I do that I wanted to make sure my rzr is supposed to be 3/8-24
Not 10×1.25.
