POLARIS 3500 LB winch. Not worth the extra???

I spend the extra buying the POLARIS 3500 LB winch thinking it is better to spend the extra for the following reason:
-I want to be sure when I gonna need it it will work.
-Want to be sure it fit perfectly.

So far I am just installing it but I am very disappointed to see that the explanation are printed in "china" and are just like what you get out of china, means no good explanation.

It misses sketch showing how does the bracket goes.
then it tells you to install the bracket and torque it. Guess what?? the Winch M8 bolt won’t go until you release the bracket which mean you have to remove the front fairlead and its bracket to release those bolt.

it should have said :
-first remove the hood to have access form the top.
-lift the RZR and remove the front wheel to get better access
-Install the bracket with pictures showing wich direction they go
-then showing the winch and how does it bolt

very disappointed for a winch that cost twice as much as the competition and have very little explanation

also I still have not figure out where is the bus terminal in the hood where I am supposed to connect the red wire???

Front Shock Repair

I noticed some oil type fluid on my floor board. And I noticed the rubber stop for the shock is split in two and it appears to be fluid over everything. I didn’t notice the machine riding any different. I pushed down and pulled up and each side and everything acts the same. My question is, replace the shock anyways or keep driving a bit longer and see how it handles? See attached photo.

Thanks

Dumb azz!!!

Up my camp riding this weekend. Doing the usuall trail riding with the wife following me in her Ace. On the easy trails just cruising around enjoying the weekend. When all of a sudden some Dumb Azz comes flying at me going the wrong way on a one way trail. He hit me pretty much head on. I have some front bumper strutts and they saved my rzr from major damage to the cosmetics. Got home today and tore front end apart for further examination. Looks like right(passenger side) bearing carrier the hole that the ball joint bolts thru is egged out along with ball joint bolt got bent. Also bolt that slides thru Tierod end is bent. A arms and the bushings are all tight, ball joints are all tight. Ordered new carrier bearing and the needed bolts. All and all very lucky and just glad I was in the lead. Just really bummed me out and I need alcohol lol!

Warning do not buy a polaris product

I purchased a brand new RZR 570 in 2013 and have had nothing but problems. Of course the air inlet failed before I was even aware there was a inherent design flaw, and dusted the engine. The other problems are too numerous to list. POLARIS does not stand behind their products or their warranty. I’m going to sell this POS and never again buy anything from Polaris. Obviously made in the USA means nothing. The fact is they are dishonest.
