Super atv 5″ lift kit

hey there fellas…

had a question regarding the superatv 5" lift kit for the rzr 570. does anyone out there have one on their machines already? what size wheels and tires are you running if you do have it? how is the power of that 570 after installing the 29 & 1/2" tires they have in the picture on their website? the 570 on their site (according to them have 14×7 wheels and 29 & 1/2 x 10 tires).

i am really, really interested in purchasing this kit and have been waiting for them to re-stock it (waiting for 5 months). i will be patient and wait, however i just want to know if anyone has one installed on the 570 and how the power is after the install.

if anyone has done a clutch and helix re-work, what are the specs of that clutch and helix?

i appreciate you guys’ help in this matter. tried doing some searching around and all i came up with are oversized tires with 2" lifts.

Got a text from a friend this past Tuesday that a group of us are going riding all day Saturday. I wish he told me today. Longest work week ever! Checking the machine over everyday. Thinking what trails to take or what trails haven’t we took. Cheese dogs or Angus burgers. What beverage to get. Actually that’s a easy answer. I dunno bout you but waiting to ride kills me.

STOLEN

Hello forum. I just discovered my 2012 Rzr 570 was stolen from my driveway within the last few hours…keys still in my pocket. I’m sick to my stomach about it and thought I would post in the forum. I realize I do not have any pictures posted as it was always something I was intending to do. At this point I am simply hoping my policy on the rzr or homeowners with state farm covers some loss. Washed RZR then no seat restriction?

Hey everyone,

Has this happened to anyone else. I washed the rzr yesterday and then took it around the neighborhood for an air dry. I noticed i forgot to put my seatbelt on but then i also noticed i was doing 30. ??? i came to a stop then hit 40 with no seatbelt. The seatbelt sensor has worked in the past but just find it odd to fail after washing it.

Question about Roofs

Can anybody tell me about the plastic or nylon roofs available. Are they any good?
Do you have to remove when transporting the RZR at highway speed on a trailer?

Any other comments that would be helpful. Looking at a few but have not purchased yet. Maybe suggest better brands that have stood up for you.

Problematic Engine noise with 2013 rzr 570

Was riding the other day and the engine shut down almost like a loss of electrical power. Oil was low, so we drained what was in it and filled with 2 qts of Polaris ps4, changed the filter, replaced gas and got it to restart, but there is clicking noise periodically coming from around the engine, can’t seem to figure out exactly where. Engine will idle fine but rough at higher rpm’s. The piss poor air box has come detached on more than one occasion and the filter has collapsed and let dirt/water into the air of and throttle body before, but no mud or water this time just conked out. Any advice would be helpful.

Lost Speed

I am trying to figure out what has changed that has dropped my top speed a full 10 MPH.

I put on new tires and wheels, and at first thought that was it. However, after swapping the stock tires/rims back on the machine, I’m at the exact same (slower) top speed.

Nothing else has really changed since last year, so that makes me believe it HAS to be related to the clutches and/or belt. I haven’t had time to look at the belt recently, but I will try checking it out tomorrow. I have a new belt on order, just because I REALLY need to carry a spare in the remote places I usually ride. The original belt only has around 2,000 miles on it.

I am assuming the belt is perfectly fine, which really only leaves sagging clutch springs as the culprit… at least that’s the ONLY other variable I can think of that would affect my top speed. Seems the problem started recently. I was consistently hitting 58-60 MPH last year. Since the beginning of this year, I’m hitting the rev limiter at 50 MPH (7750 RPM). The engine feels like it easily has much more to give… but I just cannot get that power to the wheels. FWIW, I am running the high altitude weights that my dealer put in as part of the machine setup process before it left the showroom. I live at 4,700 feet, and don’t ever ride below that altitude.

Has anyone else seen a similar issue with their machine? Assuming the new belt doesn’t resolve the issue; should I be looking to replace clutch springs, and if so – which one (or both)?
