Was camping last weekend and while the RZR was parked, I noticed the front wheels were toe-out a bit. Didn’t look normal, but this RZR stuff is new to me. When the drivers side front wheel is parallel (with centerline), the passenger side wheel is toe-out, when passenger side is parallel, the drivers side is toe-out. I searched alignment topics a bit, but wanted to hear more from others. Is this toe-out normal? I did read 1/8in is the norm? I believe I read measure front/center tire to center tire and back/center tire to center tire to get a difference of 1/8in? And is it a simple adjustment of one tie rod or the other? Just don’t want to haul it in just for a simple adjustment that could be done at home. Any help would be much appreciated.

Threaded shock bolt
Replacing my shock bolts with shorter ones since removing sway bars. I got some metric blots identical to stock but shorter but they are threaded the whole way with no shoulder. You think they will be ok.
Grease Question
What kind of grease (ordinary grease or something specific?) should I use to seal up the air intake system,as in around the filter and the tubes??
Thanks for the info.

2014 570 LE/EPS Won’t start/No rat-tat-tat
I have a 2014 RZR 570 LE/EPS with about 140 miles on it and its out of warranty. When I try to start it, the engine cranks over normally, but it just won’t fire. There are no codes displayed and the display looks normal from what I can tell. The gas tank is full.
I had noticed previously, that after turning the ignition key off, a few seconds later a short electrical rat-tat-tat sound came from (I think) somewhere in the engine area. That sound no longer happens when the key is turned on and then turned off. (What causes the rat-tat-tat sound and could that be the cause of the problem?)
The RZR had been sitting for a few weeks since I last started it. I do have a dual-battery setup (dual Odyssey PC925 batteries that are about 4 months old) with a TRUE isolator that is working properly (blue light is on). The batteries are fully charged, reading 12.5 and 12.7 volts respectively. (I keep a trickle-charger on it.)
I recently (last week), installed the EZ- Running light & Turn Signal kit. I wouldn’t expect that to have caused a problem.
I’ve checked and I have power to the coil and I’ve checked many other connections and all seem to be powered correctly.
Everything else seems to be working perfectly… it just won’t fire.
Any ideas?

570 Intake Second try
Well after an awesome run at the Wells Nevada UTV rally I found out that my first attempt an Pre-filtration was not enough after finding both of my UNI filters plugged, the SLP intake grate plugged and the main filter so plugged that one of the edges had come unglued. I re-engineered it and this is what I came up with. completly disassembled the intake and removed the bed, cleaned everything and reassembled using RTV silicone everywhere. sealed the airbox and adapter plates to the bed, greased all of the rubber connections and installed larger clamps, snorkeled from the side adapter to the Donaldson 2 stage filter with a UNI filter on top. Hopefully this will fix my dirt problem. now just need to test it.
