had my firewall off last night trying to track down a rattle, and noticed how glowing orange the exhaust gets after just a few min of running
This was roughly 5-7 min and not going over 5mph, just down driveway and back. Is this normal for these , i know some talk about a reflash from polaris but i thought that was to fix backfire issues which mine hasnt done as of yet, however sometimes it does take a bit of time to start
I dont do much in water type riding, but i think im going to do some 2" heat wrap on this area, it does get pretty hot on the back of my arms when riding. I know some report rusty pipes but ive wraped before and never had issues on other applications.

I have had my machine for 2 months have 40 hours on it and 350km. The last few rides after a few hours in the machine will have a hard time idling and I have to give light throttle while sitting so it doesn’t die. Wasn’t a huge problem and would go away after a while.
Yesterday I was riding a few hours and we stoped for lunch. Machine died twice while slowing down and then wouldn’t start. It fired a few times and even idles with some gas, tried to rev and it died. Tried all sensor plugs all fuses and no luck. Towed it back to camp tried starting and no luck.
Washed the engine with cold water for 5 mins and it started with no problem and idled fine, only thing changes was I washed the engine. Pulled fuel injector plug, tps, maf & cps sensors. No moisture added some dielectric grease for future insurance. I have no electrical mods. Machine wasn’t overheating.
I am looking for ideas to solve this problem, if it died 10 minutes later I would not have been able to tow it out.
Hey guys got hung up on a pointy rock
I need new skids. What are you guys suggesting I should look at for new ones?
Good thing I have a winch and a dead tree in wash!
The wife and I went down to Ride Royal Blue a few weeks ago but we really stayed on pretty easy trails since we were by ourselves. My buddy bought a new 900s this weekend and we headed out to ride some trails around Slade, Ky. Since our first ride I added a 3500lb SuperWinch, cranked up the shocks two notches, and added some 26×9 front and 26×11 rear ITP Bajacross tires. My only real complaint about the first ride was the rzr bottomed and dragged on everything. I gotta say those new tires made a huge difference, rocks I would have slammed on before I either barely grazed or cleared and they grip and ride so much better. I did notice a very small power difference in high gear off the line but not much. We did hit some fairly rough trails and the little 570 held its own against that new 900s, other than being a little tippy on off camber stuff. There was only one spot he went that I did not feel comfprtable trying. The only issue I had was when using awd on a couple long steep climbs I noticed a vibration in the steering wheel and under the floor when the front wheels kicked in. I did a little searching on here and some say its normal and not to worry about it, is that really normal? It did perform perfectly fine and I was really impressed with how well it climbed. It does ride a little rough after adjusting the shocks, will new springs make a considerable difference in ride quality or just give me more lift. I want some bandits but they are out of the budget right now. BTW, this forum is awesome, I have learned a lot since joining.
We have a 570 here at the shop that has me stumped. It will idle between 2100-3000 and slowly surge up and down.
So far i have replaced/swapped:
TMAP SENSOR
THROTTLE CABLE
IAC
THROTTLE BODY
ECU
TPS (WHICH IS CLOCKED RIGHT)
PEDDLE SENSOR
I traced the purple wire on the TMAP Sensor back to the ECU (following some input from a dealer tech) and it has perfect continuity, with no breaks anywhere.
Bike has fine fuel pressure and there is no air leaks anywhere.
Never owning a rzr im not sure if this is just a normal sound or if i have something going on
generally between 40/50% up to about 80% throttle i have this rattle type sound sounds to me its coming down below my seat belts however its hard to pinpoint exactly. I cant get it to really doing it by free revving only when riding
I thought maybe it was the shield on the exhaust pipe but that seems to be solid, goes away at WOT and just crusing at a consistent speed its not there either
The sound almost resembles a loose chain type sound, but i dont think there are any chains on this application just drive belt? Any ideas or suggestions would be great
Has anyone done their own install of turn signals on your 570? We are being hassled by the UT cops because our machines do not have turn signals, even though in our home state, they are not required, to be street legal. We have been quoted over $1000 to do both Rzrs and I can buy the kits for $250 – $300±. Is there $700 – $900 worth of labor to install the kits?
The wife and I will tackle the job if it is not a total tear down to install. Thanks for your replies
