Should have asked this question the other day when I asked where to mount the bracket. It appears that there are 3 wires going to the tail light, brown or black?, orange and a red one with a stripe. Which 2 wires do I hook in to?
I recently developed the brake caliper/pad rattle on my ’13 570 LE. Since it only has less than 400 miles on it, I had not experienced it yet. It sounded like something in the rear differential was ablut to grenade!! I got on the forum here and did some research. I decided to look at the rear brakes and see what I could find. Sure enough the pads and calipers were loose like I have seen posted. I had seen posts about shimming the square holes on the pads with beer cans and that seemed pretty flaky to me……after all, I had paid right at $13,000 for this thing….its got less than 400 miles and now people are telling me to fix it with old beer cans???? I don’t even drink canned beer…….WTF???I did some more investigation on my own and found that on the inside of the caliper, in line with the top pin that goes thru the square hole in the pad, there is a 3/16" allen set screw. I played with said screw and found that by turning it in (tightening it) that it moves the caliper to take up wear in the pads. I put the shift lever in neutral and tightened the set screw up until I couldn’t turn the hub by hand. I then backed the set screw out approximately 1/4 turn until the hub was free again. (no drag) Repeated for the other side. By doing this, it takes the slack out of the pads where they meet the pins. Threw the tires back on and went for a spin……….No more rattle!!! And the brake pedal doesn’t go down as far anymore!!! This is the proper way to fix this problem. I will add it to my regular maintenance procedure and bet I never have the problem again. I agree that the beer can fix would probably get rid of the rattle, but……..No offense or disrespect to anyone that came up with the beer can fix, but why not just do it right and be done with it?
Bought my 570 new in the spring of ’14. That summer I was pretty easy on er, my 1st real atv as an adult. After one trip in the summer I found a motor mount bolt had worked its way almost out. I just tightened it back in and didnt give it any more thought. The next season i was out on a run way back country and thankfully i was back within a couple miles of home at least but the belt disintegrated and punched a hole in the housing. I thought it was a little soon for that but im new to belt drive bikes, and I probably should have checked it before then. I opened it up and found that the washer that goes between the 2 sides of the secondary clutch was not installed properly on the shaft and was rattling around in between the 2 halves, where it had obviously been since it came off the line. (Obvious washer sized gouge in the aluminum in 1 spot) so im sure the sides have been dragging and catching on each other where the washer was sitting and accelerating belt wear. Took the clutch parts in to dealer but of course its off warranty now and they would have to have the whole bike in even to think about the word warranty. Ive been mostly happy with it but these assembly line mistakes are a bit frustrating. Anyway thats it for my rant, now it slips when i drive over wet grass (exaggerating… but not much) so im going to snorkel it but i still need to fix the gouge in the housing right by the belt exhaust. Sound familiar to anyone? It did pretty well in the water/mud before this happened so im assuming the housing to motor/trans seal is good. Maybe just some kind of sealant on the gash or i might rivet a piece of plastic over it with some sealant in there too?

Hey so I was out in the 570 havnt driven it much since I got it. Today was a lot of slower speeds off camber some mud and few hill climbs had a good time. But I noticed some times was hard to put in drive from park my rpm was 1200-1250 at normal engine temp 195ish I think. Also notice like 3 times took a little longer to start any one experience this??
Thanx charlie
I’ve searched several times on here and can’t seem to find a strait answer. I’m looking for some white bulbs instead of the factory yellow look. I’m not interested in Hid conversions or anything like that, just some new bulbs that will be the same color as my light bars. Any help would greatly appreciated.
How are y’all mounting the light bars if you have a pro box top? I can’t attach to the cage because of the top, are y’all just drilling into top? Pics would be great! Thanks in advance.
After buying my RZR about a month ago and spending some time doing some upgrades I finally got to put it to use this past week doing what I bought it for.
Didn’t end up with an elk, but did find one shed antler.
Put more miles on it in the last week than it had on it when I bought it. (I bought it with 139 miles on it and it now has 313 miles on it).
Very happy with it’s performance and the modifications that I did on it in the last few weeks. Clearance was really good, just scraped the bottom a few times on some rocks. The DIY harbor freight cargo rack ended up being the perfect height to pack stuff in with and did really well. The winch ended up getting used a couple times (not to get the RZR out of a jam, but to get my truck and trailer out of some jams).
Lot’s of envious looks from guys riding tandem on ATVs!
