Hey guys, Im new here. Ive been riding ATV’s off and on for years. Ive been riding pretty steady for the past 3 years, and my wife has been going with me quite a bit as well. I upgraded to an Arctic Cat TRV (two-up) atv last winter and was happy with it all summer. We took a ride in a buddy’s Wildcat 1000 and the wife and I were hooked. We really enjoyed the stability, safety, and comfort. However, I had also decided we weren’t getting into a huge payment for a toy. The local AC dealer had a deal going on the Wildcat Trail for $8799. We decided to go take a look at them Saturday. We got up there and I liked the machine, but I am about 6’3" and my right knee was kissing the dash and my leg was just really uncomfortable on the throttle pedal. We decided to head on over to the polaris dealer. I sat in a new 570 on the showroom and we both really liked it. It was really comfortable for both of us. The salesman started talking with us and mentioned they had a used one in the back. I really wasnt wanting to buy a used machine but decided to take a look at it. To make a long story short, it was a 2015 model 570 white lightning with about 225 miles on it and in nice shape with 26" Bighorns and Red Aluminum wheels. The wife and I talked it over and decided to go for it at $7400 out the door. Cheapest ive seen a new one here is $8800 plus tax, so saved myself at least $2000 there, plus the $1000 set of wheels/tires mine has. So I figure I saved a good chunk over buying new by getting this machine with only 200 miles. Yes I would have rather had a new one, but this really fit our budget well and I talked to the previous/original owner of the machine and he assured me it hadnt been abused and that it had been great for him.
Sorry for the long story, but the wife and I are extremely excited. I go to pick it up tomorrow and should have pictures then. 🙂
I recently installed a new one way bearing and it has went out again in prob 30 miles I took bearing out of new box and installed was I supposed to grease it or just install I was under the impression that if I put grease in it it would sling out onto my belt please let me know what I should do because I have to do it again.THANKS!!!
Has anyone used it on their 570/ATV/UTV to prep it for winter? I have some left over and plan on plowing with my 570 this winter. Figured it might be helpful to throw it on. I didn’t know if anyone else has experience with it.
Hope all of you had a good turkey day. I’m sitting at work today, but only supporting the urgent care area today so I may be bored to tears. Anyway, long story short, Christmas came early for me this morning as I got a (long awaited)pleasant surprise in my account this morning. So I just got off the phone with Bandit UTV Suspension and getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of trail series bandit shocks. Sounded like the best choice since I never jump the thing and I’m typically on 30 unless it’s an established dirt road straightaway, then it’s rev limiter time.
So I had a couple quick questions. I currently have 2300 miles on my 2014 RZR LE. Since I’m already into the suspension pieces changing out the shocks I’m already planning on removing the front sway bar.
1) Should I preventatively swap out the bushings? I have 0 tire slop now.
2)Is there anything else I should do hardware-wise (just changed all fluids 300 miles ago)?

Folks, I need a couple of rear wheels, 8×12 with the standard 6+2 offset. I cant find a vendor who sells them and Polaris charges way too much for them. I cant go any wider with offset to fit on my trailer. Anybody have a couple you want to part with?
