are there any known issues 2010 rzr 800 4?

I bought a 2010 rzr 800 4 seater back in May 2015 with 1400 miles. Its my first rzr but not my first off road experience. So far I replaced the thermostat, new A-arms with super daves bushings front and back because the arms were oblonged from riding them loose and worn out. Replaced all hub bearings while it was apart and the bearings had no grease left they were so worn plus dry. New rotors and pads. Now the front diff is leaking so I took the front diff out thinking the seals where bad to find the pinion bearing broke the outer race that caused the shitty zinc carrier to crack into pieces then the ring gear broke teeth off. At the moment im putting in a totally upgraded better then new 900 XP front diff from jjandaracing out of Florida. Gonna pull the driveshaft before I put the diff in for u joint replacement first. So to better help me ride more next year instead of turning wrenches on my rzr 90% OF the time is there anything else I should look for? Im putting new front axles on also.

2010 RZR4 door project

My wife and I built these doors for her RZR and we think they turned out nice! We got the blue color matched at Space Age Paints in Mesa Arizona and we are very pleased with how close the color matches the Polaris blue plastic. They said the color is a Mazda Starry Blue Metallic…. We painted the door frames with Rust Oleum Metallic silver. After we installed the door panels we decided to remove the stock stickers on the front fenders, we are going for the all blue look, no stickers. We used our Pro Tools tubing bender to fabricate the door frames which are made from 1 1/4" DOM .063. The door panels are 5052 .063 aluminum. The bead work on the panels was done with a Woodward Fab roller and the edges were rounded over using a 5/16" Covell rounding over die. We designed the doors to open in a slightly upward fashion, we thought it would look awesome. Attachment 146001Attachment 146002Attachment 146018Attachment 146019

What is your ground clearance?

I have oem springs and I know that I "need" new ones. Personally I don’t mind the ride, probably because I don’t know better, but I wouldn’t mind additional ground clearance.

I have 9.5" in the rear and 13.5" in the front.

2014 RZR 4 800, full 3/8" skid plate, 4 doors, rear bumper with spare tire, plastic roof and 2nd battery. Plus 50 pounds or so of spare parts, tools, etc.

I also have 27" mongrels on the stock 12" rim.

I am interested to hear what others have, both with oem and aftermarket springs, lifts, tires, etc.

Belt question

I have almost 2000 miles on my 2014 rzr 4 800 and have already have gone through 4 belts. Is this normal? My clutch housing is sealed, and when driving under 15mph or up hills I use low gear. How can you tell your belt is going bad? Is there any signs I should watch for or listen for? I have bought polaris’s expensive belts and I have bought g-force belts and didn’t see any difference between them.
