2014 rzr 4 800 duel battery

I have a 2014 rzr 4 800 and I would like to install an additional battery. The stock battery is located under the driver side seat with only enough room for one battery. My question is, Does someone make an after market battery box that will fit under the passenger side front seat?

RZR4 appeal

With all the new models Polaris has rolled out the past few years with incredible hp numbers and upgraded suspension, is the RZR4, or more specifically the 800 platform kind of a dinosaur? I bought my RGE in early 2012 just ahead of the 900 XP4 roll out. Probably bought too quick, but it has been a reliable machine for me. Put about 1500 trouble free miles on it with no issues. This past year I hardly rode it at all. Made one trip to Little Sahara and that’s it. Most of my buddies have upgraded to 1000’s so I just feel like I’m being left behind literally.

I guess my question to the the RZR4 owners is do you still have "love" for your ride or are you wishing to upgrade? I just feel like in a few years the 800 platform won’t have much appeal or value and I was wondering if I ought to just sell it now and look into the new 900 4 or something like that. However, I know that 3-4 years from now we’ll have an even "better" model roll out so I guess it’s just a vicious cycle!

It’s just crazy to think my 800 has around 60 hp and there are models out now with over twice that stock! Just kind of bummed out thinking about a spring trip to the dunes and getting blown away by the new 1000 turbo, lol.

Just curious if there are still some diehard 800 guys and if so, some reasons why. If I rode trails I probably wouldn’t be so bummed, but when I ride it’s mainly at the dunes and the 800 is just getting a little long in the tooth.

Awful vibration under load or quick acceleration 2012 rzr 4 800

I just bought a used 2012 rzr in good shape with 800miles on it but my first day out noticed a terrible vibration when i put it in 4×4 drive after accelerating. The vibration shook the entirr machine violently and stopped when i stopped the machine and let it idle. It only happens in 4×4 or in 2×4 when you are trying to accelerate at the.bottom of a hill. The belt is brand new and installed correctly, i just cannot figure out what would cause this intermittent but violent vibration?

Any thoughts? Thanks!

RzR 4 Air Filter

Just had my 2011 RZR 4 800 just had to have the engine rebuilt, Used a K&N filter earlier then switch to Uni Filter, the engine rebuild was do to pitted valves and pistons.
tested the rzr in Glamis and came back inspected filter and dust was still getting by filter.
does any one have a better filter system they can recommend ???

Hello all,
im sure this has been asked before, hoping theres a easy solution.
I changed the spague in the front gear case. Now as i put it back together and tighten it, it wont turn. Common problem. Or did i not see somthing.:redrzr:

I have just replace a water pump seal on my 2014 RZR 4 800. I tried to refill the radiator with new coolant and unscrew the vent screw next to the motor with the front raised up, I cannot get any radiator fluid to come out of that breather hole! Could it possibly be a stuck thermostat? If anybody has an idea what it could possibly be any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Please watch video to understand a little bit more of what I’m talking about!

Need help!!!!

I have a 2014 rzr 4 800, I had a bad water pump seal so I replaced it with a new one. I lifted the front up about 2 foot above the engine. Every one is telling me unscrew the vent screw just below the exhaust and fill until it comes out the screw hole. I filled until I couldn’t get any more in the radiator fill cap, it wasn’t ever coming out that hole. So I started it and tried to let it warm up and kept a close eye one both the level of fluid and if any came out the screw hole. It was only when it got to about 205 degrees it started coming out that screw hole. So thinking it was full I put everything back together and let it idle on flat ground it would get up to 204 then the fan would kick on and cool back down, like normal. So I get in to take it for a ride and hit the gas petal and there’s no power. It didn’t do this before! Almost like it’s in a safe mode or something, but it’s not over heating or anything. No warning lights or no indicator telling something’s wrong. Any one have any idea what could be causing this? Do you think I didn’t get all the air out of the system?
