Front glass window lower plastic split

Has anyone seen this happen before. 2015 polaris full front glass window lower plastic just split. The glass window has been installed for over 4 months and just cracked on its own. I think it’s from cold weather. Unit has never been rolled or wrecked. Just basic riding. Hopefully the dealer will cover it under warranty. I bought the extensive warranty at that.

Drako’s 2015 RZR4 900 build

I decided to start my own thread, after 6 months lol :ride:

I am going to try and list everything with pictures and updates in the next few days. I got a bunch of new goodies that went on last week.

EMP front windshield (only for cold weather riding)
Tusk rear panel (only for cold weather riding)
Rock lights
My XPT take offs are on
GPS (phone) mount over the steering wheel

I think after the first of the year I am going to put on a DuraClutch, still thinking about it but would love to have some engine breaking and zero slipping.

Already installed

-Dragon fire racing soft top
-Ricochet Off-Road Skid Plate Set 1/2" and A-Arm & CV Boot Guardshttp://www.rzrforums.net/rzr-4-900/1…ds-review.html
-Vendetta rock guards / tree kickers
-Cube lights (red lens) with custom switch
-4500 winch (red rope)
-Red steering wheel cap
-Red speedo ring
-(2) 6′ led whips with custom switch
-UTV giant lower door
-EMP rear view mirror
-Black Rhino front tow hook
-Front and rear door bags
-Dome light
-Tusk jack and mount
-Upgraded headlights
-aluminum fender washers (red)

I am sure I’m missing things….

I have also put together a pretty good tool box with a spare belt and emergency items as well.

My new ride!

Just got a 2015 RZR4 900 two weeks ago. First UTV for me, Im normally a salt water fisherman but crab season was closed this year so I needed another hobby! Love this thing a lot so far.

Have added UTV Roof with LED Light Bar, Pro Armor 3" Harness’s in front and 2" harness’s in rear. Just installed my 4500lb winch and have frt and rear control arm guards still to install. This thing is a money pit so far but a fun one. Like the forum so far, some really good info. I had mine out last weekend and probably played a little too hard with it considering it has 5 hours on it, but its a beast.

Plastic vs Metal Roof

Just wanted to post my experience with the Polaris plastic vs metal roof. I thought the plastic roof would accomplish what I needed for my 2015 4 seat 900… provide me with some shade and be durable enough to last the life of the rzr. After the first ride, I found that the two rear metal hooks that lock the roof onto roll cage were hanging loose. Upon further inspection, where they attach to the plastic roof, the plastic had cracked. This in itself isn’t terrible as the roof does an excellent job of holding itself on with just the main plastic pieces that snap around the roll cage. On my second ride out, I noticed the roof constantly creaked and squeaked as the roll bar flexed and was quite annoying to listen to.

Fortunately my dealer contacted Polaris who said that they would warranty the roof (it and the RZR were only 3 weeks old at this point). The dealer took back the plastic roof and I paid the difference to get the metal roof.

The metal roof looks and is built much better. There is a nice piece of foam between the roof and the roll bar, and the bolts have a rubber washer under the metal washer to prevent any rattles. The roof has performed much better and hasn’t shown any sign of wear so far.

If I were to do it all over again, I would spend the extra money in the beginning and get the metal roof.

Starting my first mods on the 900

Still haven’t ridden it yet, but starting to mod it already. Installed some Koplin mirrors and modded a cargo carrier for deer hunting duty (can give more detail on that if anyone is interested).

FedEx guy just dropped off my Viper 5k winch and UTV Giant lower doors. Can’t wait to get them installed. Going out deer hunting this weekend. Won’t get many miles on it but at least I’ll get it out of the garage…

Then I’m leaning towards the dragonfire soft top and I’ll be done, at least until after Christmas. 😀

Bumpers and front hooks/anchors

I’m leaning towards the dragonfire tube bumper and was wondering what, if any, front anchors fit with it. Installing a 5k Viper winch and need somewhere to hook the winch hook or a shackle when using a snatch block. Having a front tow hook would be nice too.
