RZR 4 900 Question

Morning everyone, I am new to this forum. Seems like there is huge amount of information and experience here. I have reviewed a number of threads. I am planning to purchase a 2016 4 900 next week and was hoping to get a little feedback on the machine.

1) Are any of you transporting in an older 26′ toy hauler? I have a 2007 Gearbox 26FS. Have 11′ 8" from cabinet to door but I can fit the 60 inch width past the front cabinet. This would cause more weight on the right side of the trailer though. Just curious what other’s experiences may be. These things are heavy.

2) Are you satisfied with the machine? I have read about the front diff noise and the solutions and am willing to deal with that issue on my own (if it hasn’t been resolved by Polaris). Are there any other pending issues I should be aware of?

3) I live in Southern California. I have been shopping around for the best price but would love any dealership recommendations.

Factory UTV skid plate

Just installed my factory UTV UHMW skid plate. Was a heck of a job! But fit well and looks like I’m pretty well covered! Pretty happy with it. Now I’m ready for the rocks that wind rock likes to throw at these machines.

Repair time

My 15 rzr 900 has been in shop for 4 weeks straight 6 weeks total. Took it in for power steering issue. Sometimes when you start it ps light comes on. You have to shut it off and restart it to get it to work. They changed a speed sensor the 1st week. Didn’t fix it. Had it a week. I called and told them it was still coming on. They came, picked it up. Kept it a week. Said they couldn’t get it to mess up. Brought it back. I got the light to come on 3 times in 30 minutes. They came back, got it again. They called back in a week, said they got it to mess up. It was the ps motor. They pulled it off, and numbers didn’t match. Needed to send it to Polaris so they could figure it out. That’s been 3 weeks. Still nothing. 4 weeks straight in shop. Making payments on a rzr I can’t use. What should I do? It’s warranty so u feel they are dragging their feet. But I’m about ready to call Polaris. Just don’t know if this is acceptable.

2015 rzr 900 4 rear roll cage extensions

Looking for some info/ideas pertaining to the bolt on oem rear roll cage extensions on my 2015 rzr 900 4. I was wondering if they could simply be removed or do they actually support the frame or the main cage with everyday riding (not a rollover). I like the look but would really like to have full access to the cargo area. Any info or pics of refab work would be great..

2015 RZR front diff noise

Has any one seen a video on how to change the diff washer position. And do we have any updates how it’s holding up changing this around. Thanks mine is so loud and only 200 miles on it.:popcorn:

New thread for our group: Christmas presents for our toys

Thought I’d inject a new thread into our group, seeing as how almost every topic out there on the main page pertains to our 900’s bigger sibling (1k).
With the holidays coming up, is there anything on your list for your Rzr for Christmas? Since mine’s a member of the family, I’m going to treat it as such, lol. Only fitting since it’s been pretty good this year at making me happy.
Making a list and I foresee some SATV front and rear control arms in the stocking, as well as a bumper and LED grill. Still building out my audio but that’s another topic.
Thoughts from you all? Anything planned for your rides after the holidays?
