2007 Honda rancher cutting off

I have a 07 Honda rancher that keeps chocking off every 5-10 minutes and will not start again until it sits for a few minutes. It will sit anf idle fine, its only while im riding it around. I have installed a new fuel pump. my battery holds a charge to it so I don’t think it is a stator problem. I have asked around but noone was able to help with this problem.

Question about Rancher oil filter

I stopped by my Honda dealer to spend a $10 coupon I got from them for my birthday. I couldn’t think of anything that I needed so I just decided to pick up a couple of oil filters. They had a couple of baskets of filters on sale and I inquired about the correct filter for my ATV and the girl pointed to one of the baskets and said "those are the ones you need" so I grabbed two. She didnt seem very confident and I told my wife on the way out that I was going to verify what I had before I used them. My ATV is a 2015 Rancher 4×4 with DCT IRS. The oil filters she gave me are 15412-HM5-A10. My manual is out in the shop so I figured someone on here could provide the correct info.

2012 Recon engine rebuild question

New to the forum but not engines. Rebuilding my TRX250TM and when I bolted the front cover on covering the clutch and centrifugal clutch the cover bolted down and torqued. When I tried to run it through the gears it wouldn’t do anything and the clutch adjustment would not move at all. As I was turning it around to unbolt the cover something popped in the rear cover and all of a sudden everything was fine, it would run up and down through the gears and spin freely and the clutch adjustment found be moved properly. It sounded like something seated but it just has me bothered lol. Before bolting the front cover on I had verified it would run up and down through the gears. Think I’m ok? Anyone ever have this happen to them?

Thanks, Tom

05 Rancher 350 Broken Piston

New to the forum and looking for a little advice. I recently purchased a 05 Rancher 350 with seized piston. I pulled the head and cylinder and head today to have bored and head reworked and found out that it was a little more than a seized piston. I found the skirt of the piston is completely broke off and the crown was cracked. I plan on splitting the case to clean it out and inspect for other damage. What are the chances the rod is bent? Should I just clean up everything and put it back together or New bearings and crank assembly and put back together?

Installing Winch on 1995 Honda 300 Fourtrax

Ive searched and searched but maybe using the wrong terms. I have moved my old winch over to my 1995 Honda 300 Fourtrax 4×4 (my work quad) but have long lost my installation paperwork. Motoalliance website had what I needed for the most part to transfer it over and wire it up but now i need to find the "switchable" or "keyed hot" wire. Ive got the dash cover off on my Honda 300 4×4 and see 4 wires coming off the keyed ignition but for the life of me can figure out which of these wires to tap for a keyed hot wire. I guess I could go straight to the battery but I hear this causes a low drain and this is a work quad that doesn’t get used very often but when it is needed I don’t want to fool around with charging, jump starting or kick starting. My 5yr old son loves to come to shop too and he sits on my quad and mowers and has a good ol’ time so I really don’t want the winch working unless the key is turned or its running as a safety measure. Anyone out there shoot me the proper wire in this bunch to tap? If not on of these 4 which is the correct one to find and use? I see an "accessory plug" on the handle bar of my 300 but ive never really know what its for as that plug is unique and doesn’t fit anything iver ever seen or own.
