My 420 es will only shift odd time,when i put in key try get bike back to nutrel wont shift so use emergency gear shift,then start it once started it shifts no problom anyone know why? Thanks

Please help me out guys. While riding I stopped for a minute. When I went to leave the bike went into gear, went a short ways then popped out. Feels like it is shifting into gears but it’s not. Can’t even get neutral. I can freely push the bike,and roll it. The neutral light doesn’t come on, or reverse light when trying to shift.

Any ideas?

so keep in mind that their is a stage 2 dyno jet kit. so went for a ride and has lots of power until high rpm they will sound smooth then it will have a quick choke like it didnt get enough air or fuel then will turn smooth again while this is happening im trying to go faster but it cant. Throttle cable adjustment, dirty carb??

Ok so I’m rebuild a 1985 trx125 with the lay down engine it’s standard bore and I can’t find a piston really don’t want to bore it out.I looked for a atc 125 piston and it’s a 54.00mm std bore and Atv is 55.00mm std. So could I order a atc 125 piston 4 oversize which is 55.00mm?? I’m kinda lost….

New to me 08 foreman 500 – I was adjusting the idle tonight and saw another adjustment knob on the right side of the carb (round black narrow adjustment knob) what is this adjustment for? Seems to be idling a little slow/rough but will idle

I just put a new petcock and carburetor. I drained the gas and cleaned out the tank. Gas is pouring out of the overflow tube. The only time it stops is when I turn the flow off on the petcock. What in the hell else could this be from?

Ok… I have a new 2015 Foreman Manual Shift… I LOVE IT. So, After the first 100 miles I replaced oils and filters and added a "drop" of coolant to the overflow container… it was showing closer to low line than high line… the drop put it just slightly above exact middle…. I have drove it twice since and everything seemed perfectly fine. Tonight I go out an look at it looking forward to Saturday when i can go ride again and the clear plastic overflow the level is BELOW the bottom line! KIs this normal? I don’t see a leak anywhere and the oil looked good??? should I add more coolant and get it back to the lower line/middle again??? WTH? I am freaking out about the level now.

I have an 02 450 forman es. the oil indicator light has started to come on & off intermittently while I’m riding. I have checked the oil level & it’s ok. Any ideas as to what the cause is?
