Hey guys, I am looking to get some new tires in the future. Would 26-9-12 fit on the front stock rims with out rubbing and would 26-11-12 fit the rear?
Also what do you guys think about CST ANCLA 6 ply tires.

So i drive my quad at least 2-3 times a month. Earlier this month i tried starting it , usually it will start as soon as i turn the key but it took a bit for it to start after giving a bit of gas. the following week it wouldn’t start at all. kept turning over, so i got the spark plug and the ignition coil changed but it still wont start. it does turn over. gas is new. Need help!!
Also any help on where the fuel filter is located?
Hey everyone, I went and checked out a used 2010 sportsman 850 the other day and when I put it in gear it jumps a bit. Any gear except neutral I believe. What causes this? Is it something to be concerned about? My dad’s 550 doesn’t do that unless I just pushed the throttle in Park or neutral.
Any advice would be awesome.
Also the front axles need replacing, is this a difficult task?

On my 2010 850 if I let it sit a few minutes and crank it the eps and gear indicator doesn’t work. If I turn the key off and back on everything works. Then last week the everything in the pod stopped works besides the hours while riding and I couldn’t get nothing to come back on until I let it sit a week. All fuses are ok. Anybody ever see this?
Hello guys , my sportsman is shifting very hard , I have searched and the forum and generally hard shifting is due to 2 main issues , High idle or clutch issues.
My situation is idle at 1050 rpm (good ??)
clutches seem to be aligned , riding mainly in center of primary (Good correct ?)
my 2 questions are ,
1)when atv is not running it is still stiff to shift , not as bad as when running. can I conclude that my shifter bearing is possibly bad ??
2) with my clutch cover off , I notice that my belt is turning (although riding in center), to me this is the issue with the hard shifting , this is a newer belt and perhaps a little tight ?? is there an adjustment to adjust belt tightness??
I’m planning to set up my 2005 sportsman 500 with a snow plow this year. Anybody have any experience with Tusk Sub Zero’s? I like the price compared to others and the reviews seem pretty good.
Any other recommendations? This is just for personal use. I don’t intend to use it for commercial duty.

I know there are threads all over the forum about which tire people prefer. But I would like to hear suggestions for my applications. I am a baseball coach and I use my sportsman to drag the field, plow snow, and trail riding…(when the wife allows). I had a 1999 honda foreman with some cheap Swamp Witch tires. They were still in pretty good shape when sold with over 1300 miles. I know I will have to give and take in this decision of which tire. But here are my concerns…Since I have a 2 inch lift what is the biggest tire I can put on? best traction for plowing snow? not tearing up my baseball field, and a well mannered trail tire, and life expectancy? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
