Having said that if I can I’d like to use all of the prewiring that Polaris provides with the 570.
Does anyone have experience customizing the prewiring for different brands of winches?

When buying my quad I was asking the service guys about oil. They told me that it was recommended to run 10W-50 in the summer and 5W-50 in the winter, but they were seeing some oil usage with those that had been switching back and forth so they now just recommend the 10W-50 year round. Since my manual says 5W-50 and nothing else, I just want to verify what I should use?
Also, what is the point of the red ignition switch when they key is an ignition switch its self? Should I turn the red switch off as well or will it hurt anything to leave it on?
I’ve been wanting a 4 wheeler for years and finally went for it, and I have to say I don’t think I’m going to regret it. I’m still in the break in now so I haven’t opened it up, but it sure feels like it has plenty of grunt. I’m at 15 miles and 1.7 hours right now driving pretty easy and varying the rpm’s. At what point should I start to open her up a little more? The manual says no, but wouldn’t it help the break in cycle if I let her eat every now and then as long as I don’t keep it at full throttle for an extended time?
I think that’s about it for now. I’m a baby when it comes to cold so I’m just sitting here for a couple more hours waiting on it to warm up outside so I can go ride some more and keep trying to get this baby broke in.
My 570 has been a bit down on power with the new tires… Running STI Roctane HD’s. An 8 ply radial, really stiff sidewalls, you can almost run them with no pressure, they are that stiff… The downside is that they are way heavier than stock, even though they are the same size.
So, the clutch kit should be here by this weekend and I should be able to install it and report back with a ride report!
hanks Ryan for the advice and help, looking forward to getting the product on my bike.
This plow system absolutely ROCKS. I have a very tricky, 330′, switchback, uphill driveway on a mountain side. It requires piling the snow up the side of a wall in some parts. The ability to raise that plow so high is perfect. Also, super easy to change the plow direction with that toggle handle. Couldn’t be happier with this plow. MUCH better than my old Cycle Country.
With the weight of the wet snow, and a 60" plow, and crappy stock tires I was initially slipping a bit. Added my 100lb rocket-launcher lookalike weight system that I fabbed up from scraps a couple weeks ago. Worked great. Zero slippage. It was so effective in the hitch, that I think in heavier snow I’d need to throw 50lbs on the front rack because steering was a light in the front.
