High idle?

Halfway into my last atv trip, my scrambler started idling about 400 rpm higher than normal. It runs fine, but I have to shut it off to switch gears. I bypassed the ETC quite sometime ago because I was getting stuck throttle codes. I would also occasionally get high and low voltage TPS codes. Does anyone have some ideas what it could be?

exhaust problem

am I alone breaking exhausts? got a stock one that broke on the side, two other stock ones that differents baffles got loose inside and now an HFM pipe that started to crack where the exhaust pipe goes in the muffler…

my engine may backfire about once every 500km, its not optimal for muffler life but can it be that bad? can I be doing something wrong? I don’t think I should be going trough more exhausts than drive belts…

2015 scrambler clutch problems

Since my machine was new I have complained about the clutch on my 850. It engages very hard, and sometimes with a heavy clunk. There is no gently pulling forward or backwards, even with the slightest throttle the tires will spin when the clutch engages. I complained to multiple Polaris dealers, and I even brought the machine to multiple dealers and I was at first told the belt needed to be worn in. 1,100 miles later and it’s no better. Now they are telling me it’s just because it’s a sport wheeler, and that’s how Polaris tuned the clutch. I find that hard to believe, I ride with renegades and they engage smoothly and in a controlled manner. What should I look for to fix this problem since the dealers clearly have no interest in fixing it?

Upper Frame Support Broken

I saw other have had this problem, and seems like it’s brittle cast aluminum. I can’t believe no one make HD supports to replace these (or they do and I haven’t seen them?). I’m definitely going to buy CECCO arm braces, but wish these were available too. BTW, just bought the Scrambler second hand and tore it down for build/preventative and maint. and found this. Trying to source a new one in time for this weekend ride…

Could my buddies 2013 be so much faster than my 2011?

Hi Guys I have a 2011 850 xp with 700 kms on it and i just picked up a 2013 850 xp with 200 kms on it. Mine has 14 inch allow wheels with 27’s his has factory steel 14" with 26’s. Otherwise these are stock machines.
His feels way faster than mine and wheelies without me pulling back on the bars, mine wont even come close.
Other than the 7 hp why would his be so much faster?
When I first traded to an 850 from a 570 I was disappointed that the feel wasn’t huge.

p.s. I was paranoid about the timing gear issue but mine has no idle fluctuation and no other common symptoms

Thanks in advance:werd:
