03 predator 500 flat spot of idle to 1/4th throttle

hello everyone im new here, and im having a seriously frustrating problem with my newly got 03 predator 500, a little background on the bike..
3rd owner, first owner lived in nipomo, second owner was a family friend they both put no time on this quad at all, i mean the paint int even worn off the shifter or brake, so it have very little time on it, but, someone had over-filled the oil,by a significant amount. i mean i could have done a full oil change with the extra oil in the airbox alone,go forbid what i sucked out of the oil tank..now onto the problem, the whole bike is cherry except for 1 thing, right of idle about 1/4th throttle or so it boggs hesitates and will almost kill its self. if you get it past that to midrange and top it, it hauls the butter,it is quick and strong, but that little gap off idle is killing me, so far i have

cleaned the carb and checked it well over 10 times in the last 3 days
checked for air leaks, the boot between the engine and carb has a minute crack but doesnt appear to be leaking
checked jets and needle position all stock and perfect diaphram for the slide is perfect
checked filter etc canged fuel in tank etc

what am i missing?
i had a bad experiance with a predator before also, i had an 05 that did the oppisite, after 1/2 throttle it crapped out and bogged so i sold it after trying to fix it.sense then ive been leary but there so fast so i figured id try again please help i have not the faintest idea of whats wrong and its driving me insane!! i have fixed and rebuilt many bikes in the past mostly 2 strokes and a few handa 4ts but this is rediculious:werd::rippedhand:

04 500 won’t start

Ok so my quad has not started for a while now. It previously would turn over and try to start but never would so I took it to a shop and was told the kill switch grounded within the harness and that I needed to get a new one. I since have replaced the entire harness and battery. Now it will not turn over at all. Any help on what could be causing this is appreciated.

Why in the world won’t this Predator 90 move?

This is odd. I start it up and the engine runs fine. I hit the throttle and the thing acts as if the back brakes are locked up or something (back end actually pulls down from the rotational force not reaching the axle) and they clearly are not… what the heck? Is there something I’m missing here? I don’t know anything about the CVT (I think that’s what it’s called) system, could that be the issue? I have ample experience in fixing dirtbikes but exactly zero in working on quads. I welcome any and all advice/recommendations.

Fuel pump bypass

My 2005 predator 500 was barely starting and if It did would run rough. After looking into it I realized it was a bad fuel pump and disconnected the lines and ran a line from the tank straight to the carb to get me by for now. The quad ran great for hours with no issues. Is there any need to replace the pump? What’s the cons to making the carb gravity fed?

A Little Help Please

Just the other day I went and got my Predator which has been setting covered up on my moms porch for sometime now. I had started to do a build on it and never put much effort into so that’s what came of it. I had took the sub-frame off and now that I’m ready to put it back on I can’t seem to remember where everything went. So I’m hoping that somebody on here has some pics or will be kind enough to take some of of the sub-frame, battery and everything that bolts up in that general location so I’ll be sure that I put everything back in the right place. Any taker’s? It sure would be greatly appreciated.

Predator 90 brake light

I got a Predator 90 and for me to start the quad with the electric starter I have to squeeze the brake really hard for the light to turn on than the safety relay or switch to work. Is there an adjustment as to how sensitive the safety switch? Brakes work fine but for the light to work I have to press the brake really hard.
