400ex front shock relocation question

2003 400ex. I’ve seen brackets that are for lowering/widening your stock stance. I know that new a arms shocks etc is the preferred method so I don’t need to be pointed in that direction. My question is I’ve seen brackets that move the lower attachment point down and out and I’ve seen brackets that move the top attachment point up and out. Which configuration is better if any? I don’t intend to lower it much because I don’t race or anything I just find myself up on 2 wheels more and more often. I’ve began welding so I’ve added another poor skill to my resume of wasting time on the four wheeler. Side note, I just made my own metal battery relocation airbox. Now the seat comes off like it did in the honda engineers dream.

Trx250ex stock pilot jet

Im in the process of installing a full exhaust, uni filter, Airbox prefilter lid mod. I have a dynojet stage 1&2 kit. It does not cone with pilot jets only main. Will upgrading the nain be good enough? Also with thise mods any recommendations on a jet size and need spot to start out with?

hi i have a 96 foutrax 300 4×4
witch its running 27-10-12 vampire tires, but the quad i feel its to slow, my buddy running a stock 250 yamaha bear tracker its way more faster than mine. being a bigger engine
so if i want faster and powerful quad fast take off, faster running and powerful for hill climbing. what to i have to do?
smaller stck tires? gear reduction? how much gear reduction?

2014 trx450 hrc kit

looking to buy an hrc kit for my Honda but can’t seem to find one that included the cam. I’m looking for the entire kit. Head pipe, cam, cdi, air box lid, jets, hrc needle, and exhaust cap. Does anyone know where I can find a complete kit?

ok no one has even given me a straight answer my 400ex has a 426 big bore, stage 2 hotcam, new timing chain and tensioner. I want to do a 4mm stroker I heard you have to use a vertek stroker piston but I cant find one that will fit my 426 big bore only the 425. where can I get the piston and what if any grinding is needed to make this fit:sad

450r carb vs 39mm fcr carb for 400ex

ive been researching upgrading the carb on my 03 400ex. it seems the suggestions are always a 04-05 450r carb or a 39mm fcr carb. is there a noticeable difference between the 2? are they the same thing? are there any reasons to choose one over the other. the biggest difference i can see is its fairly easy to catch someone ‘parting out’ their 450r and make a sneak offer on the carb, as opposed to all of the 39mm fcr ive found are from a manufacturer brand new couple hundred bucks. thanks in advance
