I have owned three or four yamahas including a 90’s 350 big bear and most recently a 08 700 rhino. My most recent purchase is a poorly maintained 2007 450 camo grizzly. A guy I work with needed some cash to pay a truck note to prevent repossession. The bike has been very badly abused but the asking price seemed to good to pass up.
Anyway, I could list the things that need to be repaired/replaced but this is not the place for that. However, I look forward to visiting the forums for advice and tips for bringing the bike back from sure death.
Thanks in advance,
Matt
P.s- what website is used for grizzly parts that is the most trusted?
Hi. I am thinking to upgrade my Bruteforce 650 to a Kodiak 700 EPS SE. Main driver is to get more low speed power and electric power steering to facilitate driving with tracks in deep snow. Kodiak 700 seems to be a great machine to work. I would use it to haul logs on a trailer equipped with an hydraulic grapple. But I was told that EPS is not strong enough ( will disengage at 15lbs), so I am not so sure anymore it will make much of a difference for steering. Wondering if someone could share practical experience comparing driving with tracks with and without EPS. thx for your comments
Just bought a 2016 Honda TRX420FM on Black Friday. I’ve been around Honda bikes all my life but this is my first atv. Got to say you will never catch me on 2 wheels again as far as off road riding goes. I love this thing. It will go anywhere. Looking forward to getting to know everyone here and maybe hook up and ride. I’m in the eastern TN area. I’ve noticed there is a lot of knowledge on this site. Hope everyone has a Happy New Year
Glad to have found the forum. I’ve recently found myself the victim of the oil field slow down in South Louisiana so I have traded my home from a swamp to a mountain and my golf cart for a Honda 300 Recon 2×4 that had only 12 hours in 12 years. I’m new to the mountains and to an ATV so I’m excited to find a wealth of knowledge.

Hi there I’m Kirby got an 05 grizzly 660 sitting on 29.5 outlaws, stock exhaust, 2 inch snorkels and a radiator relocate kit. recently put a mudder clutch kit in from EPI, and have been messing with this Dynojet kit i just bought. So far Ive found the 160 main jet to be the worst Ive tried yet. the 155 was what came stock(at least when i bought it from a buddy that’s what was in it) and I tried a 150 first. 150 sputtered at 3/4 to full throttle, 155 sputtered at 3/4 to full throttle as well and the 160 sputtered at anything above 1/3 throttle did idle high as well. until i put in the 160, the fuel air screw was fully tightened down(150 and 155 both had a fully tightened air screw). not sure whats going on if anyone has any help for me it would be greatly appreciated. Don’t be afraid to ask me any questions about the bike as well. thanks.
Hello,
Newbie from Eastern South Carolina here. Not a newbie to the sport; just a new owner and new to the forum. I recently purchased a leftover, but new, 2015 Foreman 4X4 Rubicon DCT. I’ve only put 25 miles on it in the 2 weeks since I bought it so I’m still breaking it in and getting used to it. I plan to accessorize it a little but so far all I’ve done is put "stick-stoppers" on the front and rear control arms and install a rear cargo seat that my wife bought me (read HER) for Christmas. I’ll probably get the matching front cargo bag so I’ll have the storage part complete but, for now, that’s all I’ve done. Thank you in advance for any help or information you provide me. I assure you it will be sincerely appreciated and I will return the favor every chance I can. Here’s wishing you all a safe and Happy New Year. :icon_cool:
