Hello all. New here, got a bike about a month ago, completely addicted as I new I would be. Always wanted a trike finally got one and it runs fantastic!!!

ok so I still have a few questions . I adjusted the intake valves which were pretty much fine adjusted to .004 now if the exhaust is supposed to be same clearance .004 why can’t I even get feeler gauge In a little bit? Could they really be that tight? Or are exhaust valves adjusted on different index mark on flywheel? I have flywheel set on the sideways T. Do I adjust exhaust and intake on sideways T compression stroke? Any info is much appreciated

today I finally had some time to adjust valves on my 06 Trx 300 ex but I’m confused about the feeler gauge and clearance. My Manuel says clearance is in/ex:0.10+0.02
(0.004+0.0008 ? Is that .004 intake and .008 for exhaust? And should quad be in neutral when u spin crankshaft? I really need to know this thanks

I have 1998 Honda foreman 450es. Looking for a wire that works with the key switch so led light switch doesn’t stay all the time. So it only works with key I on so batt does run dead. Right just pull fuse to it .

Hey all, just figured I’d pop in and say hi. Just bought a ’96 Fourtrax 300 2wd from an older gentleman who used it for hunting and slow trail riding. All the maintenance was done regularly on it as well. It needs a little bit of work, new rear brakes and a couple bearings, but I’m not particularly mechanically inclined, so I’ll probably be finding someone to take care of that for me.

However, if anyone could link me to a download for a service manual, it’d be nice to have anyways. One thing I was concerned about is what to use for engine oil. I’ve got a couple of bottles of April 4 Cycle Engine Oil, and they say they’re designed for ATV’s, Motorcycles, and Snowmobiles. It’s all in french first though, it’s from a Quebec Company and I’ve never heard of it. I’m assuming it’d be safe for me to use for my next oil change, even though it doesn’t specifically state it’s synthetic or safe for wet clutches. Pretty sure my father was running it in his Suzuki Vinson, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. Also, what should I use for oil in the rear diff?
