Need Help

Hi all
I just joined this site. My name is Teresa (from Maine) My son who is 16 has a 93 Honda 4 trx 300. My husband died last year (he could fix anything). This machine will not start. I had a friend replace the following parts-

Battery
Ignition
pulse generator
starter
coil/alternator
cdi box
I assume he replaced/checked the fuses

every time he said" this is the last thing it could be". Well, I have over $400++ of new parts and it still won’t start. I can’t keep dumping money in this thing and can’t even sell if it s not running.
What should I do next?? Neither my son or I know that much about this and don’t have a lot of money to spend. Barring a new wiring harness what else could we possibly replace

Hi, Jim from shirley Long Island, N.Y. I have a 99′ TRX400EX, 01′ Raptor, & 01′ Prairie 300. I am new to quading & so far love the 400 the best for its simplicity. I ride behind my house on a golf course that closed down & upstate N.Y. Places upstate are johnsburg, north river, & Bleimheim.

Hello to all from PA

Hello, fellow Honda owners…

My names Hunter, and i have a bunch of quads and cars that i like to use them in ways the manufacturer never intended. Especially my Jeep.

Started with a 2003 Honda 90 and escalated from there. Currently race (when i have time, so never) GNCC on my 01 Raptor 660R.

I have rebuild many ATVs, small motors, small block Chryslers, etc.

I am currently rebuilding my 300 FourTrax (see signature) with new rings, valves, valve stem seals, timing chain tensioner, and maybe a few other tid bits to make it run like new. It also needs swingarm bearings. (see separate thread)

I also just bought (today, actually) a 1992 Honda 250X that has been sitting outside on a farm for over 3 years :/ The price was right (damn near free) and i am a sucker for taking on projects and never having time or money to finish them.

It could use some TLC… Plastics, carb rebuild, spark plug, TIRES, carrier bearings, swingarm bearings, and i think a side case cover. Not sure. (see separate thread) It has a hole in it from the chain when it broke on the previous owner.

I powder coat out of my garage. i have done brackets, wheels, covers, cases, bars, resi covers, etc.

I also love nitrous. Dont know why, but i love bottle feeding my toys hahaa.
