I’m from central wi. I have a 400ex currently. Looking to either get a rebuild or upgrade to a 450. I just loved the reliability of the 400ex. On the fence on what to do. Anybody know of a reputable engine builder in wi? If so please let me know. thanks in advance. Take care guys and ride safe

The fluid level screw in the rear of my 2002 rancher is broken off. Dont want to take it out till I have a replacement. Anyone know what size it is, I know its a 10mm but not sure what the thread is.

Carb and idle problems

Hi fellow ATVers I have a problem that I just can not seem to put my hand on it maybe someone can help and it would be greatly appreciated .My 2001 350TE has a rough idle and i can not get it to idle smooth and at the proper 1400 rpm, I’ve cleaned the carb, cleaned tank and screen, replaced fuel line, still same problem, went ahead and bought a new carb new intake insulator new plug and new coil still to no avail the same problem, went to check timing the f mark is close but i can not really check it due to poor idle it runs well but just don’t want to run smooth like it should purr it has a little miss going crazy thanks

2000 Honda 350 TRX rear end question

Hello all you Honda ATV experts out there. I have a 2000 TRX 350 that seems to have stripped the rear axle splines. Likely the gear that drives it has some damage too. Can I replace the axle without rebuilding the rear diff or is that recommended?

I have looked online and there are several rebuild kits available but I cannot tell if they will work with my year and model. Lots of 300 parts out there but much less 350 parts.

Can anybody tell me which differentials are compatible with a 2000 fortrax 350?

I would like to rebuild it (here in Canada a new one is $1000 and the individual rebuild parts from Honda total $40 shy of that as well). I see bearing and seal kits but need to confirm they will work with my unit.

Hey one and all! Just picked up an 01 400ex. It’s been both loved and abused by previous owners, and now that I have it, I’m looking forward to cleaning it up and enjoying it.
Here’s hoping I can learn some useful info, and find some good deals on pieces/parts for it!

Maybe should’ve posted this earlier however I’m relatively new to this. I have a ’92 250x w/ maier 300 plastics and ac racing nerf bars with some other little stuff here and there. I really like the forums and you guys have helped get the beast (thats what i call it lol) back from the dead. Thanks for the help. Q :icon_ rocker:
