New Truck, Tundra.

After looking for a new truck ever since August of last year. I finally found one! It’s a ’08 Toyota Tundra CrewMax Limited. Only has 55k miles. 5.7L, black, 4×4, red rock interior. Best vehicle I’ve ever owned thus far. Plenty of power & room! A lot more truck then my Silverado use to be.

So far, I added WeatherTech floormats. Next is gonna be darker tint. More of aggressive exhaust and leveling kit. Stock JBL audio system is very good. Really been enjoying this truck.

Duramax

Picked up my Duramax this summer. It was a tough find because I was looking for the work truck package. No carpet, manual 4×4 shifter, has power heated mirrors, power windows/locks. I couldn’t justify another 20 grand for the bells and whistles! Going from a 5.4 triton to the Duramax is a major upgrade!

New guy here…

Hey all!

I just picked up a 2006 Grizzly 660, with 140 hours & 790 miles. Super clean and unmodified.

I got it home, went for one ride to ensure everything was in operating order, then tore it down for maintenance. These things sure hold a lot of hidden filth! I spent a full day cleaning parts, then changed all fluids. The radiator came out because it was completely clogged with fine dust and dirt (between fins).

It’s all back together and ready to rip!

I do have one burning question:

Did Yamaha really expect us to mount a winch to that thin-wall tin front bumper?! It looks so weak…

I bought a KFI winch mount plate and a Mile Marker pe3.5 ES. The KFI plate looks like it just bolts to the brackets on the backside of the bumper, behind the two front skid plate bolts.

Does this sound right? Is there a better mount setup out there that ties into the actual frame of the machine?

Thanks! I look forward to lurking and absorbing tons of info…
