Just picked up an ’89 Foreman 350

Just picked up the foreman, really nice shape, original plastics, minimal wear, runs great. Any opinions or advice on them? I have had/still have a few hondas, so I’m pretty familiar with them, but not this one. How hard are they to find parts for? Are they the same as the previous trx350?

Also, it came with a plow, but I need a mounting plate. Any ideas on the best place to find one? Thanks!

03 foreman 450es 4wd indicator blinks 5 times?

Took on a project of doing a frame swap on a 03 foreman 450es 4×4. Just about finished and started it up to test everything and the 4wd indicator blinks 5 times. There was 2 white plugs we went sure which plugged where. Could it be these plugs? No repair manual and guy wants it done before the first of the year. Any help?

1988 Honda Fourtrax 300 won’t start.

I own a 1988 Honda Fourtrax 300, and never had an issue till now. I can’t get it to electric staart or kickstart. The battery has charge and there is gas. My starter soloniid is bad so I have to kickstart. Which has never had an issue till now. When I go to kickstart it sounds like it is trying but cuts off. Like it won’t turn over. Any ideas on what’s wrong with it?

300 Fourtrax – Locked up brakes

Hi Everyone,
I need some help with my brakes. I have a ’94 Fourtrax 300 which I recently took trail riding. It was the first time I ran it through sloppy mud and really rode it hard. Trying to keep up with all those 800cc machines is hard. lol. So here is my issue. I cleaned up the wheeler at a wash bay and put it in my garage. Didn’t ride it for probably 3 weeks. The next time I got on it I fired it up, shifted it in gear and tried to take off. It was completely lock up…the motor couldn’t move it an inch. After some investigation I noticed that the left front handle brake was locked solid. I couldn’t pull it an inch. I pulled the back right wheel off and tried to get the brake drum off which was not fun. I chipped the aluminum back plate because it would not budge. At any rate I put new shoes on and I’m having the same problem. I can’t get the drum over the new brake shoes. With a bit of persuasion, I can get the drum over them but I’m in the same situation. Everything is locked up. What am I doing wrong? Any advise for someone that knows very little about brakes? Merry Christmas and thanks for your help.

2009 foreman Es 4×4 problem

Ok I have done my Research and everything On this….my 4×4 is not working and it is throwing speed sensor code(code 2) for the front Speed sensor….I have replaced both sensors with new oem Sensors cleaned all plug ins and tested every wire.the bike has new axles diff oil and the output shaft is not stripped tires are all the same size and air pressure is correct….is there anything else I can do to get the 4×4 working? It almost as if it’s not reading the ring gear on the front diff but IK the sensor is good. I’ve chasesd this problem for 3 weeks now with no luck and spent 200 on sensors please help me.

97 fourtrax 4×4 front hub questions…

I have been fighting with this dang front end since I got this atv…i had a leak in the diff seals so I tried to pull the axles well it was stuck in no matter what I tried I got fed up with it so I bought a new used diff and axles go them traded out no problem. The same time I replaced the left knuckle and ball joints. So now I have all new besides the hub. I put it together and it was still rocking back and forth on the bearings. BAD.. So I took the hub back off and compared with the right….the right side had a tapered shoulder that snagged up in the bearings perfectly…. No more rocking. I can’t find a "shoulder" on partzilla and the ones on eBay all look like the ones that didn’t work. Anybody run into this before? Are the hubs side specific?

2005 honda recon smoking

The guy I’m getting it off of said he put in new pistons and rings in it but he said it’s still smoking. At first he said something the affect that the rings wasn’t set yet and later on he told me it was because it still had some oil in the exhaust from before he put the rings and pistons in and that it will burn off in about two weeks and stop smoking. What do you guys think is causing the smoking.
