lets just say i’ve had a crazy past with my grizzly.
i bored out the cylinder to 686 and went with a 12.5 to 1 comp piston – mud buster cam to accommodate raptor valve springs clutch kits etc .. and i even messed with a Edelbrock carb for nearly a year before going back to a stock carb (it was just more dependable) .
I dialed in everything with a Air fuel controller.. things seemed great & amazing response and all the great other things that go along with this type of build.. went for a 10-15 min ride one night and unfortunately I broke my back in 3 places on a wash out ditch that wasn’t supposed to be there.
It was doing 75mph when i smoked that ditch nearly cleard it even. but more so it was a smashed spine.
Now that’s all in the past and my main question here is something regarding old (grizzhopper).
Now grizzhopper had a mod that overrode the neutral / reverse and dif lock . amazing stuff
i cant find the documentation for that however anymore its 2015 and he wrote that in 2006.
anyone know the exact wires for the override’s?
even just the wire colors would be appreciated.
i have the tank off now and carb. its all open.

All wanted to show and talk about the OPT7 cree LED 14in C2 Light bar. Ordered off amazon with the wiring harness $115 to my door. Installed on the HD bumper easy. I did buy a couple pieces of steel and cut to length then pre drilled and painted a flat black. Attached are Low beam, High Beam, and then the LED on. The farthest you can see with the LED on on the last picture is about 80 yards but if i was not pointing up hill at a slight angle could have seen further. The other pictures are the final product (yes the grizz is dirty). Overall install time was 3 hours with going to the hardware store that is 10 Min away. Very happy hope it lasts a long time.
Anyone have any idea what problem might be. My Bike has 650 km on it. Went for a quick rip around the property this morning and EPS light came on also not working. checked all connections all clean and dry. I don’t have a jumper lead so have to wait till tomorrow to diagnose. Just wondering if there was a default reset I could try.
I just bought a 09 700 Grizzly, and the tail?brake light didn’t work. I pulled the storage box out, and all the wires were unplugged, I matched up colors and got the brake, and tail light working. Then I discovered my engine fan is not coming on, there are still two wires by the taillight that are not connected to anything. I read somewhere that the engine fan has a fuze wired into this location, any info on this would really help.
New member and in need of help! I’ve had my 2004 grizzly 450 for a while now and it has been great until last fall when I was crossing a creek and hit a big boulder which turned me onto my side. The quad took on lots of water. After several oil changes I got her up and running like a top again. However I put the quad away for the winter and did not notice until recently that the 4wd was not engaging.
I have since tested all 3 relays and checked all fuses, which all test fine. However they are not getting power when pushing the 4wd button. I bought a new switch and installed it but still nothing. The relays are not clicking or showing anything on the multimeter. The diff lock does show its icon on the display when i push the button for it, and it flashes, but no 4wd. I’ve followed the wiring and can’t seem to find any shorts or melted wires.
Any ideas? I’m racking my brain and looking all over the internet but I’m stumped. Any help would be much appreciated.
So I’m going to trade a Camaro for a 09 Grizzly 700 efi but no eps. I’m needing help from u guys. So he says the dash or gauge does not work cause of some low battery, he said they are known for it, I guess I don’t understand that. He said he is using a trail tech which I don’t know what that’s for. He says it has like 2200 miles, how do u know that if it has no gauges? Thanks for the help.
I ve got a 2001 600 that the bendix does not disengage put a new one in and still does it seems like there is a lot of magnetism that is holding it on the fly wheel any ideas thanks in advance:getrdone:
I need some help. Can someone explain how To change the voltage regulator on a 2003 Yamaha Grizzly 660? I can see the old one but I don’t see how to get my tools in position to remove it and replace it with the new one.

I have a 2004 Grizzly 660, with a WARN winch. Can someone point me in the right direction before I tear this thing apart? The winch will not operate in the outward mode, only in the inward mode. I have a chassis manual, but just don’t know where to start.

Ever since I got the grizz, my high beam never worked but my low beam did. Is it that my bulbs are burned out or drawing to much power? Or is it more of an electrical issue. I`m no good at electrical:rofl: so any help is appreciated!
