Mounting was interesting as the place where I bought my lights had clamps, much like you can buy online, but they were for large diameter stuff. So I fabbed up some pieces of flat metal and mounted them up higher on the top of the racks.

Key switch question.
I own a 2014 grizzly 450 and I just put a 20inch led light bar on and a lighted rocker switch. My question is can I wire the rocker into the key switch so there is only power to the switch when key is on? When I hook it to the battery the light on the rocker is on constant. Thanks for looking guys.
02 Grizz 660 won’t start – electrical
My guesses would be CDI, Starter, ???. I haven’t ever had any symptoms in the past. Maybe a connection could be cleaned, but I dont know. It doesn’t crank or really do anything other than the display goes dead, then after 5-10 seconds I hear the winch cylenoid click back on (power to it again) and the display comes back on. For the heck of it I tried jumping the starter cylenoid and it does the exact same thing as if I hit the starter button. I’m guessing its not the problem.
Pretty vague here, but any initial ideas?
thanks
Location of Diode #2
I am creating this thread as the question did not get a reply in my other thread about fixing my general electrical issue.
The wiring schematic shows a connection to the Gear Position Sensor. For the life of me I can’t seem to locate Diode 2 and the Yamaha Service Manual does not give an idea of general location for it.
Thanks.
