Took a bad bounce on a whoop on trail 10 near Man and went over the side. Luckily it was a switchback and I landed in the road about 70 feet down. After straightening the radiator supports, reseating the bead on the back tire and bungee cording a few bits back on, continued riding for two and a half more days.
I had my first oops moment. Hit a large rock in middle of the trail. See attached photos. Hit the lower arm at the attachment point to the frame. Frame itself looks fine but A arm is toast. Anyone repair damage like this. Seems that it would be a common occurrence. The other issue is the power steering stopped after hitting the rock. Any idea why that would happen? There was not impact to steering rack or wheels.

On my never ending quest to make my 2016 XP4 1000 mildly reliable I decided to relocate my Voltage regulator under my hood. At some point I remembered the turbo’s was mounted under the hood, so I decided to see if there was a handy dandy bracket I could steal from the turbo…. Sure enough there was and will make my install clean and easy.
HOWEVER – as I was looking on the parts schematic I decided to see if regulators were the same… the answer is nope. Not only different part number, but the Turbo is $50 CHEAPER. Obvious question is will they swap over and is this the upgraded regulator we all have been wanting?
Very curious what a 2015 900-S EPS in Stealth Black looks like with all the decals removed.
Is it black black? Or a matte black?
How does it hold up? Does it mud stain easily?
