I know this has been talked about a lot in here and I have been reading a lot in here as well as other places. I wasn’t able to find much that was recent or relevant. my question is this:
From what Ive read most people will register their RZR in another state and then just drive it with an out of state tag, I do not want to do this. I want a FL tag, which must be possible because I see all sorts of crazy things driving around here.
Also from what Ive read once you title a RZR in FL you are dead in the water. My thoughts are that I buy a RZR new and do not title it, just get a bill of sale, Manufactures Certificate of Origin. Next bring this thing home and install all the "street legal" parts that I need (tires, horn, windshield and turn signals). Once this is complete I fill out the following forms:
HSMV 82040 Application for certificate of title
Note * will need to produce the Manufactures certificate of origin with
HSMV 84490 Builders Affidavit (for a vehicle assembled from parts basically outlining the parts I added to make it street legal)
Bill of sale (from when I buy)
Active Insurance
Inspection report
Note* can’t seem to find out much information about this, plus Florida does not require inspections anymore. Is this still needed??
From the best I have been able to find these forms should allow me to retitle the vehicle as a "assembled from parts" vehicle or something similar (kit car). Has anyone else tried this? also if anyone has any thoughts or input I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
Hey guys. I moved up to the 2016 1000XP this week and was wanting to get ideas on subwoofers. In my previous model, I had the SSV overhead stereo with the behind the seat subwoofer with the Kicker amp under the dash in front of the driver. Although it sounded awesome, I could not access my engine area at all from the cab and I was constantly worrying about ruining the amp either from riding or when cleaning up with pressure washer.
I have installed the SSV overhead stereo once again. That’s 3 I’ve bought from them in less than 2 years. You’d think they’d throw in a free hat by now. Anyway, I am not interested in putting another subwoofer behind the seat. That’s out. I’m really not thrilled with loosing my glove compartment just to install a subwoofer there. I know the SSV has a very small compartment they call a glove box but it doesn’t compare to the factory glove box.
What other options are out there for a subwoofer? My 1st RZR I had was a 900xp. The subwoofer was in the middle of the dash. That was a perfect fit. Anything like that for the 1000xp? Also, I’m not interested in another subwoofer unless it’s enclosed with the amp inside. Putting another amp under the dash exposed is not an option.
Did you breathe in more dust than you would have liked to last season? If the answer is yes, give us a try. Our mask offers comfort, and ease of breathing, that far surpasses any other product. Wolfsnout makes riding in dust a non-issue. The dust mask by itself is great, while the mask and goggle combo is the perfect set up.
We manufacture in the US, at our own facility. And you wont find any $5 knock offs from China. WOLFSNOUT_OFFROAD_DUSTMASK_ATV_SPORTS_MASK
Wolfsnout, the perfect off road dust mask, great for dual sport riders to side by sides. Atv’s and all bikes in between.
I have a 2015 RZR S 900 and the fuel gauge suddenly reads empty and flashing with a full tank of fuel. I tested the resistant as per service manual and got 450 ohms which indicated empty tank. Went to a non-dealer Polaris parts site and see new gauge is part of fuel pump apparatus and costs $315. Anyone have ideas on getting around buying whole unit???

I will be heading to Glamis over Christmas with my rzr900S last time I was there, I had an 800 and bought some 26" paddles. I would like to run them on my 900 but it only have a set of 27" to put on the front (I’m currently running 29" big horns) Will that cause a problem with the 4X4 or will I not really need 4X4 that much due to having more power?
I’m kind of a dune newbee so any advice would be appreciated
Me and a few buddies are heading to Wellsville sat. First off if anyone else is going feel free to pm me. Second is it safe to park at freezing still as long as you lock your stuff up. Thanks in advance
Man I love my rzr, BUT it takes me hours and hours to get it clean. There are so many places for mud to get trapped. I’m on hour 4 of washing and it’s still not clean. SMH any tricks out there? lol
