Although, if a guy digs hammering a RZR Turbo in the dunes, I bet he would not feel like he was going to fall out of anything at 30 mph, except maybe a golf cart.

Hello folks im in the process of moving from a 2010 rzrs into a 2012 900xp. I completly forgot wen i bought it 3 weeks ago and i dont know how i forgot but it went completly out of my head to ask the chap weather it had power steering fitted which is a pretty important question considering with me being disabled knowing i cant drive an rzr without it, i knew this because wen i bought my 800 it didnt hav power steering. So obviously i fitted an aftermarket power steering setup, i cant remember which brand it was, is it possible to transfer the kit from my 800 to my 900? Thanks
The guys @ BlackRhino Performance & UMP is proud to introduce an intake kit with their race winning SuperFilter design so you can be confident that you’re getting maximum engine protection for the Polaris RZR XP 1000 & RZR XP4 1000.The first thing UMP read about the 1000’s new air cleaner is requires no tools to service. What’s that mean? It will leak! How much power does a dead motor make?
Our kit uses a proven design with our 8” dia. canister with over 30% more media than stock that will not leak and bolts into the stock location. It uses the stock plumbing from the protected fender inlet and the hose to the throttles.
Twice the filter life with the self cleaning canister design and 99.9% dust retention to protect your expensive motor. (With supplied Donaldson element).
Complete bolt on system hand crafted of aluminum and stainless steel hardware, no flimsy plastic to break or leak. Filter element is serviceable without removing canister.
Kit Includes:
(1) Ump Air Filter Canister
Filter Element
Mounting Brackets
*Note: Fits the Polaris RZR XP 1000 & RZR XP4 1000 (2014)
Just a quick thank you to all of our forum vendors. I recently had the opportunity to conduct business with Joe at Rugged Radios and Chad at Cagewrx. Words cannot explain how helpful, informative and on top of things both were. After working their way through my multiple questions and concerns, not only did Rugged Radios and Cagewrx get me a GREAT price, all my items were shipped the SAME day!
Please take the time to support the forum vendors and give them a call, they always seem ready and willing to answer any questions you may have and even offer a few suggestions.
We have had several complaints from our customers about the filter housing on their 900s, 1000s and the ACE 900. After getting our ACE 900 we went to work to see what was going on. First thing we noticed was the upper portion of the lid did not seal at all. The straps holding the lid closed were way to soft and the lid was warped at the ends and in the middle. The sides and lower section of the lid seemed to seal well but there was just not enough even clamping pressure across the top to get a good seal.
Something need to be added so we could get it to seal, so I busted out a set of our straps that we make and use for the XP900 hood and Xp1000 glove box. They ended up fitting the bill perfectly and now we have a complete seal of the filter housing.
To do the install you will need to remove the housing from the vehicle and it does take a little time, but the end results is well worth the effort.
Finalizing our instructions and should have kits available shortly.
Regards,
