I’m looking for a Garmin GPS that will help me explorer without getting lost.
I live in Northern British Columbia where there is trails every which way and easily to get lost like you where in a maze. I wan’t somthing that will track where I have been and easy to load a GARMIN backroads map with memory card. Any ideas which are the better ones? Hopefully somthing that will mount either to my steering wheel or dash.
I am looking at putting an aftermarket cage on my RZR and was wondering between the ones with the open front or with the V tire blocker race cages, my question is I like the look of the cages with the tire blocker on them better but does anyone get annoyed with it blocking your view of of the front with 2 bars coming down the center of it?
If you break down out in the dunes and are unable to fix or tow the machine out and have to leave it, is it covered if someone was to steal, damage, or take parts while you are away getting help?
I have ZBroz suspension components on my XPT. Front+2", high clearance A arms. Rear high clearance arms and trailing arms. Rear sway bar also. The rear lower radius arm broke this past weekend, which in turn destroyed an axle, trailing arm, sway bar link, and shock.
Called Casey, sent him pictures. They are sending everything for the repair. No hesitation, no long drawn out inspection of parts, just 110% over the top service to get me back on the trail.
In this day and age of all the complaints we hear I thought it fitting to give a shout out to Casey, Nate and all the people at ZBroz. Exemplary service and dedication at providing customers with a 1st class product which they stand behind 100%.
Wondering about capabilities of the Interactive Digital Display 2.0 (standard in the XC), especially regarding how one loads Tracks, topo maps into the system, etc., to guide a trail/trip. And, is anything available for this device, from maps/trails providers (like FunTrek, etc.)?
Have checked with sales people at 2-dealerships here in AZ, to no avail. That is, they seemed to have little to no knowledge of how well it works, how to interact with it, etc. Seems Polaris is not training their sales staff about this system.
Also, I have done some looking at the RiderX website.. which is supposedly how one interacts with this system… but not clear on what one can actually do.. except it does refer to "making Tracks".
Am using a Montana 650t handheld, which works pretty well … with SD cards available (e.g. from FunTreks.com) of Tracks, etc. it would be nice to have a larger screen (albeit the Interactive Digital Display screen is still pretty small). Am considering buying a new machine/RZR: Is this $800 option worth the money (and, as noted, it is already installed/ comes in the XC)?
Does anyone know what kind of plastic they make the front/rear fascia parts, rocker panels and fender flares out of? I know the body is TPO but im pretty sure the other stuff is different.
Thanks
For those of you that have dealt with Abernathy, Is their advertised price the final price or are their other fees like freight and set-up that they add to the price? They are currently advertising the 2016 RZR 570 LE for $10,494. Is that the actual price?
My in-laws have asked me to help them find a 570. Looked at some used machines and they decided they would rather buy new. I have negotiated with a dealership in this area and got them to come down to $11,000 but that is as low as they are going to go. I am mostly curious as to whether the great Abernathy advertised prices are real?
I have a set of 2011 Prospector tracks for sale – includes mounting hardware. The tracks are USED, they are model 2510309 s/n: 0348 made by Soucy International. They fit my 2008 RZR 800. I am located in Denver CO. $1300.00.
