Want your Z1 to run cooler??? We Just got done with our redesigned water pump housing, This design eliminates the 150* bend out of the water pump "which its prone to get air locked or trap air in the water system" and direct the water straight into the impeller, this is much better for water flow and doesn’t turbinate the water which causes heat and air bubbles.. Through testing our pump housing flows 6 GPM more water at just 4,000 rpm!!!!! the test also showed the water to come out much smother hents the increase in GPM.. We also eliminated the port that bypasses the water from the back side of the thermostat.. [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

I see posts about people putting it on its side and am wondering what is the biggest cause of people rolling. I have about 1000 utv miles and am yet to roll. It’s all desert, no rock crawling, never drunk and have never done a donut. I’m sure there are plenty that have rolled it while trying there best to be safe. What’s the main cause of rolling? To fast in a corner, off camber, too slow, ledges, rock crawling? A buddy rolled his and either won’t admit it or truly does not know what happened. Is it one of those it’s only a matter of time things, and it can be a freak accident?
What caused your roll or what do you think causes rollovers?
This past weekend I was involved in a roll over in my 2016 XP1K… Completely my fault, the vehicle performed perfectly, and there were no injuries. Just $3k in mostly cosmetic damage.
I’m VERY thankful to have been wearing my helmet, without it I’m sure things would have been much worse off, just based on the scars it now bears. It’s a personal choice to wear a helmet or not, and I respect whatever your decision is, but beware of the consequences of not wearing one. Also, although the stock seat belts kept me inside the vehicle, I believe they allowed for too much movement, and I would highly recommend changing them out for at least a good 4 point harness… mine were already on order, and due to arrive the next day.
Thanks to Polaris for building a machine that’s as much fun to drive as it is safe.
This is kinda stupid, but what direction does the tread pattern go for the back tires. I was looking on the side of the tire and I don’t see a rotation direction.
I would imagine there is so I am asking here. I didn’t pay attention when I took the old ones off. Thanks in advance!
I just got another set of the stock bighorns. I ride a 2014 RzR 1k.

My need is primarily winter access to "seasonal" property, maintained roads for the most part, travelled almost exclusively by tracked vehicles due to depth of snow. However, I had a guy come pull me off the mountain with a 2016 1000 2 seater, it barely broke a sweat 🙂
I’m wanting something that can do the same, albeit a bit slower (cheaper lol).
I’m hoping to be able to get a 900 XP 4 seater to be modified to handle the sometimes deep snow. What should I consider (tracks are an option, and the best option but man $4K will put me in the $9K range for rig price 🙁 ), larger/wider tires, mud tread I assume? Chains might help as well, any experience on RZR’s in deep snow? Thinking I will slap a 3-4K winch up front, maybe do a spacer or spring 2" lift? What else would you experienced guys suggest?
