I bought a brand new Jagged X in 2013; by the time it was all done, I spent about $24000 to purchase it. After only 1400 miles, the engine was using 1 quart of oil in a 4 day trip.
The motor was torn down today. No evidence of dirt ingestion, and I am anal about changing oil and maintenance. Valves were shot and rings worn out. Valve guides were shot bad in a way that says they were never installed right from the get go.
Polaris ought to be ashamed of themselves, selling a machine for what they charge and putting a piece of junk motor in it that only lasts 1400 miles. I will never buy another Polaris again unless someone can make this right at Polaris.
There is no excuse for this lack of quality control in a machine costing this much. If this was a passenger car, the government would be investigating this junk.
We are planning on going to Ocotillo Wells between Christmas and New Years. Any recommendations for a great place to camp with kids. Looking for a place that is safe to ride with great riding and great destinations rides. We mainly have Toy haulers, RZRs, bikes and quads.
Hi all We have always come to the aid of our fellow members in their time of Need .Our Great Vendors /Members have once again joined in to Help Gary and Karen .
Gary’s Story
(Our RZR friends Gary and Karen Barlow own a gun store in Texas. We met them this year at the Taylor Park Ride and they are wonderful people!
Not long before the ride, they invested everything into opening a gun store. Today, two dirt-bags tried to rob the store and Gary was shot.
How long will Gary be unable to run the store? How much do hospitals charge for their services? Lets all help a little, so it can make a big difference in the end!

I’ve got a 2014 900xp I’m looking for a way to move the steering wheel closer to the driver, I don’t want to move the seat an cramp my legs. I can reach everything fine. When strapped in I like the steering wheel closer kinda like in a racecar for example. I’ve taken it apart thinking I’d build brackets an move it closer but rather not hack up the steering rods. Any ideas? I kno there are steering wheel hubs an dished wheels but how much can you get oot of that.?
