After reading Heel Clickers thread on clutching it suddenly brought to mind a book written by John Muir. It was called how to keep you volkswagen alive a complete idiots guide. That book got me through a lot of break downs and repairs on my Baja bug. How great would it be to have a similar book for Rzr models. Something to refer to for trouble shooting or just general maint. Come on some one has the literary and technical knowledge to Author a book like this. This could be a great asset in any tool kit on your Rzr. :ok:PS you can check out the idiot book on Amazon.
I bought an 18′ open car trailer with a wood deck. Need to carry one Yamaha Raptor 700R and one RZR XP 1000 Highlifter. I have the following:
(4) Wheel Bonets from harbor freight (spacing)
(16) Heavy D rings
(16) 1 1/2" Snap-On Ratchet Straps
(2) 4" Truck ratchet strap
I have heard about ATVMightyTite UTV/ATV securing device, has anyone used it?
Thoughts on securing it to the trailer…. I gather the Raptor 700 will have to be loaded across the front, and would like to keep the RZR off the rear dovetail so it will have to be secured close to the Raptor.
Everyone have a great weekend, have fun, please wear your helmets and ride safely and responsibly. Holiday weekends can be especially busy at many of the different riding areas and while traveling. Please look out for your fellow riders, both on and off the trails, don’t expect the other guy to be doing what you would do. May we all have a safe and enjoyable adventure over this Memorial Day weekend, enjoy!
I’m looking to get into my first atv, the deale has a 2014 rrzr 4 800 they received in Dec lol and they want it gone at $15,000 or should iI spend the extra $6,000 for a 2015 900 rzr 4? I’llbe using this for family ride and me and the boys going out for a brrrppppp. I live in the yukon so there ia deff lots of bush trails and rocks to climb. Is the 800 enough? Also I should note these prices are in Canadian.
I’m trying to get my new RZR 900s ready to race for WORCs. Does anyone have suggestions as far as what components, (intakes, exhausts, programmers, suspension settings) and general set up? I’m on a budget and would like some help… Thanks

I just bought a new 2015 RZR 900 S and my intake boot on the throttle body is misaligned that I just noticed. I was out on the trail and it started whistling. I pulled off and found where the whistle was coming from, its the intake into the motor. I am nervous that the motor could have got dust in it…. Has any one had this happen or similar, should I be nervous and push polaris for a rebuild or see what happens? Any help would be great!
