2008 rzr 800. Just did a new top end. Was on second break in trip at about 50 miles total. Was riding quite a bit of mud/puddles but not submerging it. After several hours was riding back to the truck and just suddenly had a loss of power. Could only go max 15mph all the way back.
At some point during the day I noticed the check engine light had come on. Did not ever notice any error codes though.
At home washed it off, removed new Donaldson filter system. There was some minor water droplets past the filter in the boot. This filter has the intake underneath the filter housing. According to Vent Racing this is where it’s supposed to be as it no longer uses the stock location between the seats. I guess with the suction power it drew in some water from all the splashing? Seems like a real stupid setup Vent Racing!
I did notice the TPS has become totally disconnected. I can only assume I did not click it in enough when installing everything. Cleaned it and put it back on. Still no change on power issue.
In idle the machine seems to sound normal when I rev it up.
Compression test came in at 150 psi. Unusual though the pressure gauge would not hold the pressure as it has in the past. It bled out fairly quickly. Not sure if this is related or a separate issue?
I’m kinda thinking it went into limp mode but not sure how to test this theory/fix it?

I have been riding in lake city colorado for a few years now ever summer and the trails up there are absolutely great! This year we don’t have any friends coming up with us and I am looking for anyone that will be up in the Lake City, Silverton, or Ouray Colorado area from around July 27th to August 5th. I have an XP1K and am willing to ride with anyone on any sort of trail long or short. Im trying to arrange a group ride so we can all go out and have some fun and enjoy back country colorado!

Looking a getting a nice seat for my XP900. I will be cross country and short coarse racing. Do the suspension seats made for the RZR have a higher seat height than the stock seats?
As I write this several agencies are searching for three adults and a child who were swept away from a SXS a little while ago in the Canadian River North of Amarillo. The RZR was just spotted floating down river.
I had to edit this a little. All of the people have been accounted for a Mile or so,down river.
Hey guys. A friend has a 2013 rzr 800 50". His rear is sagging pretty good. I installed racertech dual rate springs on factory shocks. It helped a bit but did not bring the back up back as high as it used to be. My question is would new shocks actually help with picking the rear up. If so what kind of shocks can I get and use the dual rate springs that I have Noe. Also he has duel Looney tuned exhaust so he cannot have a shock with a mounted reservoir. Much appreciated for any help.
Need to know what a 2014 800 eps trail with 159 miles and 4 year extended warranty is realistically worth. I’m looking at 1 and need to know what a fair price is. <br />
