Flying into Phoenix or Yuma to ride Glamis

Can someone who keeps their RZR or Dune Buggy in Yuma explain how they fly in? I’d like to explore keeping a RZR in Yuma and flying in with the family to ride the dunes then flying back home.

Do I have to have a Toy Hauler and keep it in Yuma at a storage lot? Can I rent a truck to haul a trailer? Can I stay at a hotel near by? I see that I can rent a RV to stay in but can’t figure out how I’d haul my RZR to the dunes. I live in Texas and I’d like to know how people are flying in.

Thank you

New one seater xp1000

About a month ago I received a phone call asking me to participate in a Polaris survey. All of the questions asked my opinion on 1 seater Rzr’s. What size motor I’d like, manual or stick shift and etc.
About a month later, I’m at Rally on the Rocks and I run into Chris Burke who owns Marshall Motoart. I recognized what he was driving from a picture I had seen about three months prior. One thing I didn’t see from the picture was that it was a one seater. He did a video interview while he was in Moab that I watched today. He says Polaris paid him to build this in the interview. Maybe this is the prototype of the new one seater? Here’s a link to see the interview/video of the car.

Rzr sudden loss of power

Little background:

2008 rzr 800. Just did a new top end. Was on second break in trip at about 50 miles total. Was riding quite a bit of mud/puddles but not submerging it. After several hours was riding back to the truck and just suddenly had a loss of power. Could only go max 15mph all the way back.

At some point during the day I noticed the check engine light had come on. Did not ever notice any error codes though.

At home washed it off, removed new Donaldson filter system. There was some minor water droplets past the filter in the boot. This filter has the intake underneath the filter housing. According to Vent Racing this is where it’s supposed to be as it no longer uses the stock location between the seats. I guess with the suction power it drew in some water from all the splashing? Seems like a real stupid setup Vent Racing!

I did notice the TPS has become totally disconnected. I can only assume I did not click it in enough when installing everything. Cleaned it and put it back on. Still no change on power issue.

In idle the machine seems to sound normal when I rev it up.

Compression test came in at 150 psi. Unusual though the pressure gauge would not hold the pressure as it has in the past. It bled out fairly quickly. Not sure if this is related or a separate issue?

I’m kinda thinking it went into limp mode but not sure how to test this theory/fix it?

Open to ideas/suggestions?

Thanks!
