Power steering issue

I did a search and didn’t find anything exactly to what I’m having an issue with.

Vehicle description – 2014 RZR Xp4 900 with stage 2 and XP1000 wheels and tires.

On two different rides on different days I’ll be traveling at a relative slow speed, under 10mph, through a rocky trial and the power steering will quite and the steering wheel will shoot straight and be hard to steer. The power steering light will come on a long with the CEL. I’ll stop, turn it off and re start, power steering is back and the CEL will be off. I’ll run with the gauge on the voltage screen and I’ll see 13.9 to 14.1 at higher RPM, 12.7 or higher at idle.

I see others have had issues with the voltage regulator running too high, but I haven’t seen past 14.1 or 14.2 tops. No codes that I can see, is there a way to access the codes later or can a shop pull the codes?

KFI Stealth Winch 4500lbs

anyone have a KFI winch? wondering if anyone else has had an issue with them. I just put mine on 2 days ago and I used it once for the first time today. after the ride I figured I would pull the rope out to make sure it was wound up evenly. it easily pulled out and then I got to the end of the spool and the rope fell off. and I hear a ting. well the bolt that holds the clamp on that holds the rope on the spool snapped! I have no idea how it happened cause the winch pulled the SxS out with ease. I don’t understand at what point the bolt snapped but still allowed it to spool enough to keep it wrapped tight enough to pull the SxS out. inspected the rope (synthetic) and the rope has some tears in it near the start of the rope where it begins to spool I’m assuming by the bolt that holds the clamp on. guess I call KFI and hope they warranty the dang thing. such a piss of when you spend $800 and it fails the first time using it.

What would it take ?

We all know Canam has leaped way ahead of Popo in power . Yamaha is about to unleash a monster.Honda might be back in the game….Articcat has a great chassis just need the right drive train !

With all these competitors gunning for Polaris , what does Popo has to do to retain there customer base ? What would push you over to another make? Is it quality or performance that make the decision for you….

With the rapidly changing landscape , where will your next ride come from, what does Popo need to do ? Will they respond to the new challengers ….?

Tech question please help

I let my dad drive my rzr 4 800 and he took it into a creek. It got stuck in a rut and he laid into the gas it started smoking really bad from one of the snorkels. With no success he flipped it into 4×4 but the front wheels didnt turn finally we had to winch it out. once it was out and on dry land it would barely drive forward and was turning a lot of rpms. I thought it might just be high gear that went out but it seems to be in every gear. If anyone can help me that would be great
