I have an 800s and a standard 800. Am selling the standard and looking to replace it with either a new 900s or a slightly used 1000.
We do 3 to 4 trips a year to Hatfield McCoy, and the other riding is in the Upper Peninsula with both wide open fast trails and also a good bit of tight stuff in the forrest.
I guess my question is for a Hatfield McCoy machine which one is better the 900s or the 1000. We run fairly hard and do most all the Black trails at HM. Like to do some rock crawling and other technical riding in wood.
Also love to rip it up on some of the Wooped out sections on the snowmobile trails in the U.P
Which machine should I buy? the few thousand dollars between a new 900S and a like new 1000 is not a factor.
In the market for a 24 foot enclosed trailer. Anybody have any input on things I should look for, or things I should stay away from? I am looking at Look trailers, as well as HaulMark and the others… Leaning towards Look. Any input would be great.

I’m replacing the U Joint on my 2012 800S. Went to my local dealer and he said $50 for original polaris or $25 for the Moose. So I got 2 Moose U joints: "12050004 Universal Joint POS MOOSE 14283"
I just got home with them and started researching on here and I can’t find anywhere that says they will fit a 2012 800S… He compared them with the Polaris ones and they looked to be the same. Mind you, he eye-balled them and didn’t do any measuring… I’ll try to take pics of the old ones when I get them out and compare them. I don’t have anything fancy to measure them correctly… What you all think!?

Does anyone know if the XP900 primary clutch puller will work on the XP1000? Some of the sites that sell the tools show them being the same, but the threads seems to be different when I try to thread it into the xp1000. Don’t want to force it, but there is a possibility that the threads on the xp1000 are buggered up and need a tap ran thru them. Just want to verify before I start monkeying around with it too much.
Looking to see if anyone has attempted using an Axia universal mount to attach the Rotopax Pack Mount to the roll bar. Either the horizontal rear bar that runs behind the seats or the down tub running at a 45 that the shock reservoir attaches to on the 1k.
I was thinking two universal mounts would work, not really a big fan of the Rotopax RZR mount as it uses a standard hose clamp to attach to roll bar.
I’ve seen the UTV, Inc mount, but seems pricey and is more bulky than I prefer. I prefer the slim Axia clamps.
What caught my attention on using Axia mount is this statement on Rotopax’s website when I was looking at mounts. "Use with included base plate or remove plate to attach mount direct by bolting up through the bottom or down through the top."
Then bolt through directly to Pack Mount. Would look super clean and tuck right next to roll bar. If screw size didn’t work I could use this mount and keep base plate attached to Rotopax Mount.
